I'm sorry for everyone who got rejected today 🙁

I still haven't heard anything, but I'm holding out hope I get a late interview here. My parents just moved to NC last month and I would love to have help with the kids while I'm in school!

Sorry to hear about all of the rejections guys, I hope you've had better luck at other schools! I've been complete since late august and haven't heard anything. Not sure if the rejections will continue today but it feels like I'm barely hanging by a thread :scared:

I sympathize with those who have been rejected, but for those still in silence there is some hope. I received an II today (OOS, LM 71, complete late August) with January and February dates available. Best of luck to everyone out there.

Rejected yesterday. Complete mid-September.

II just now! Freaking out because this is one of my top choices!

For people who interviewed already, did you fly in to Charlotte or Raleigh?

When did you receive the complete email?

@Pathdocmd or anyone else: Sooo this is kind of a silly question but, in the interview invite email, they ask interviewees to send a recent photo. How recent does this photo need to be? My last professional photo was in May of last year, when I had long blonde hair. Right now my hair is cut shoulder length and is my natural black color. Should I retake my photo or can I send the old one? Jw because it would save me a lot of time if I didn't need to retake my professional photo. Thanks in advance for the help!

I don't think you need to spend money on a professional photo, but I do think you should at least have a friend snap a current "headshot" of you with a blazer on. Your photo will be put on a sticker that you give to each interviewer. If it doesn't look like you then they're going to have a hard time remembering you and your answers.

My email didn't mention a photo...I'm lost.

Got it, thank you!

It has to look enough like you so there is no confusion when you come in, sit down, and start talking.

I sent my confirmation email with a photo but got no response. Worried I won't be confirmed in time and that I might lose my spot. Should I send another email?

I've been complete since late July, but haven't heard back yet. Does this mean that I can still receive an interview? Are they still giving out interviews?

From what I can gather from this thread and from what the administration has mentioned, it is possible that you have already been selected for an interview invite, but that invite will go out at a later date. It is possible that they are still reviewing your application before making a decision. It is possible that they will reject you in the end. However, I think it is a good sign that you have not been rejected, yet - they are not shy about rejections! This process definitely requires a lot of patience. I hope you get an interview!

Thanks for taking time to reply!

For people that have interviewed, how did you send a thank you note?

@The Unburnt

DBC03 at it again

I got into Pitt today so I officially withdrew my interview here for the 12th. Good luck to all of you and hope one of you gets my interview slot!

For anyone thats interviewed, can you give some background info on MMI format?

Is it the traditional 2 minute to read card, and 8 minutes for response/follow up? Do you get to carry around a note card to write notes on? Is a copy of the prompt placed on the desk while you respond?

You have two minutes to read and 7 minutes to respond. You get a pad of paper to write, and the prompt is also in the room. i cant remember how many stations there were - probably 10, so it was 90 minutes in all.
