I am so happy for you !!! I am on my third year too , and , even though I don’t have any acceptances yet , I can imagine how you feel . Finally , with all its disbelief, 4 years of hard work paid off , and your dream will finally be a reality . You deserve it !!!!! Celebrate

Is there a chance that there are more decisions that will come out today / over the next few days?

I was here for the play-by-play of the last decision week, and yes, acceptances went out on more than just one day. Honestly it seemed really random! Another thing is they don’t go completely chronologically. The first decision week people who interviewed after me got decisions and I didn’t hear anything.

These emails seem to be random guys! Don’t worry and try not to freak out.

CONGRATS!! You're going to medical school 🙂

Wow you guys, thanks for the outpouring of support from the SDN community. You guys are awesome and good luck to everyone this cycle 🙂

Hey guys so I contacted admissions recently, and was told that my application was reviewed and awaiting further decision. Does this normally happen?

Do any current students have any insight that they can provide about rotations/rotation sites? Also would love help as far as housing and what options are available. Feel free to respond or to personally message 🙂 thank you in advance!

Did anyone who interviewed on 10/17 hear anything?
I interviewed then and still havent heard anything, seems like people who interviewed around October have started getting acceptances, not sure what that means for us
- but it does say they send out their decision throughout the week, so maybe there's still hope to hear something within the next few days

Potentially means a hold? I’m not sure. I’d email to clarify. I had to clarify at some schools cause they use such cryptic wording sometimes

They told me that it’s awaiting further decision, if it were on hold I feel like they would have told me

Interview just now! The post-II acceptance rate is pretty good here, right?
I believe at the interview day they present the exact number of interview invites/ acceptances and it was roughly 54%, but that includes acceptances off the waitlist.

Deferred today and withdrawing my app. Interviewed 10/10. Good luck to all!

Can any current students comment on third-year rotations? How many clerkships ended up being at the primary teaching hospital (Hahnemann) vs sites around Philly/the surrounding area? Were the majority of sites receptive to having/teaching medical students? Also did you feel like having the hospitals so far away was an annoyance in the preclinical years for things like shadowing/research?

Thanks!!
