I have tried searching for this question and cannot find it. However I received an email today that says action required please create an Eraider account (and it provided me with information to create one).

Does anybody know what this means?

If you mean what it means in terms of admissions it seems to not mean much. People who interviewed have reported not receiving the email while some who were not invited to interview got the email. There also has been no updates on it and pretty much all updates have been through email/secondary app portal.

Your eraider account is important if/when you get accepted. A few of their pre-matriculation items had to be done through my eRaider account.

I haven’t even had an II... I had two friends at my school get the email and once they created their account both had interviews within 3 days???

I think that’s a coincidence. I’m not sure that making an eraider account has to do with getting an II. Even though I haven’t gotten one
 
II this morning! LM 70 OOS but with strong ties to TMC. they have two dates at the end of november. complete sometime around end of july. i will likely turn down this interview due to a previous acceptance at my state school but good luck to everyone going forward and i hope someone worthy can benefit from this 🙂 and happy halloween!
 
Anyone else interviewing this friday?

Also for those who have already interviewed, what were people wearing at the social the night before? I dont want to show up too casual haha

Very casual. I think I wore jeans and a hoodie.

Its at a super casual burger place so don't really worry about it.
 
I've been to a couple MD/PhD interviews already but Texas Tech's II email confused me a bit. Is the interview day a 2 day thing like other MD/PhD interviews or is it a one day thing like the email implies?

From what I remember about the multi degree candidates at the interview, it was a one day process. You guys just have more than the normal 2 interviewers.

I concur, all of the special program candidates (multi degree, FMAT, etc) on my interview day simply had a 3rd interview scheduled that same day.
 
Hey y’all, I interviewed Oct 12th and Lubbock still doesn’t show up on tmdsas to rank it... should I be worried or do they take long? All other schools took no longer than a week to show up!

I would call them. I interviewed on the 26th and mine showed up a week later

I interviewed about a week before you and it showed up within maybe a week or 2.
 
Anyone know how heavily Lubbock prematches? Want to know how much I should temper my expectations.

A lot of schools are not going prematch heavy is the general sentiment I have seen thrown around. One thing I did take away from the social mixer was not to be concerned until the end of the day on the 15th, as Lubbock didn't send out their prematch emails until late in the day.
 
I recieved an interview yesterday but I'm not sure I can go because I have other interviews on both of the available dates they gave me.
 
Any OOS acceptances yet? Also, anyone know how long it takes to review the interviews, etc? Interviewed last week (11/9), go to Texas Tech but still an OOS applicant and wondering what the timeline usually looks like?

Yeah, I got accepted Oct 15 and interviewed in mid/earl September, although I can’t remember the exact date. Not sure how long the timeline is, though!

Congratulations! That’s so exciting, it’s definitely my top choice.
 
The more I think about how my experience was at the Lubbock interview, the more I think I would like to go here. Best interview experience I’ve had thus far. Being in Lubbock would be the only real negative but location is pretty low on my priority list

Ask for more dates, TTU should interview until Dec/Jan

Also there is a chance you'll be assigned to Permian Basin (25 students) or Amarillo (100 students) for 3rd and 4th year.

My only negative is the possibility of being moved to Amarillo or Midland/Odessa. I don’t want to have to move all my stuff again. Other than that, I definitely liked it there.

They have a few interview dates in December! Last interview day is 12/19
 
Hey everyone! Current MS1 at TTUHSC here. I just wanted to wish everyone good luck with the prematch! We cannot wait to welcome and get to know the class of 2023 next year. I prematched at Tech last year and I know I made the right choice by coming here. Let me know if y'all have any questions!

For the students that are informed they are being sent to Amarillo or Odessa/Midland, are they staying there for entirety of MS3 and MS4 or are they only there for certain clerkships? Also, during my interview they said the majority of students stay in Lubbock. Do you have a rough estimate?

It is for the entirety of MS3 and MS4 years, with the exception of special elective clerkships that may require you to come back to Lubbock for a few weeks. Don't fret too much about campus placement - there is an appeal process during the fall of second year and everyone has gotten their appeals granted the past several years.

Is there a chance of getting a pre-match if you interviewed 10/26 or are they still looking over our files? LizzyM - 69 if that helps

This was my roughest interview. I didn't know what my elution column was made of, I didn't remember what concentration of imidazole I used, I could not remember any of the details of my protein purification protocol, somehow prematched here!!
