I wanna know too !!🙂Out of curiosity has anyone OOS been accepted off the waitlist yet?
Great !!! Keep us posted 🙂Just emailed the admissions office to inquire about waitlist info/if we are re-reviewed at each meeting/if they finished interviewing.
I guess that is good! at least we know that things might start moving along soon. HopefullyUPDATE: “Our interview season is over and our class is currently full. Whenever an accepted applicant drops their acceptance with us, we will pull someone off of the waitlist. We cannot predict how many will be pulled from the waitlist. We have a waitlist sub-committee that reviews waitlisted applicants and pulls them for acceptance.”

Do you know when he got accepted by chance? My friend was out of state last year and on the waitlist and got accepted. He said that’s pretty typical for OOS
I have multiple acceptances- and I am not holding them for fun at all . Actually it is opposite of fun . The reality of it is that the financial packages haven’t come yet , they are telling us they will come in April for most schools . Till then you don’t really know the whole picture .I feel like we're at the will of those holding their acceptance just for fun...hopefully as we get closer to traffic day (per last years thread) spots become available. Last year on the thread it showed people coming off waitlist towards the end of March until first week of May so I would not assume all movement happens after traffic day.

Exactly .Exactly, you’re in a good spot with multiple acceptances and you are 100% allowed to make your decision with all the necessary information (esp. financial). I wouldn’t make a life-changing decision without gathering all the needed information. I never understood the hate for people holding multiple acceptances. It’s not y’alls fault for how long and drawn out this process is when it doesn’t need to be.
Can you imagine already planning to go to another school that you don’t like as much , and then get pulled a week before classes start ??? Oh my godTo add to what the other poster said, one of my friends got pulled off the waitlist a week before classes started (they were OOS). Unfortunately, that happens across the country.
Knowing my luck it will totally happen to me 🙂))To add to what the other poster said, one of my friends got pulled off the waitlist a week before classes started (they were OOS). Unfortunately, that happens across the country.
Btw I am waiting on waitlists from my two top choices . So I totally get the frustration. That being said - people who have multiple acceptances do also deserve to take their time to make a decision . They worked really hard for it . This is one of the most important decisions in their lives . I had three acceptances , and I released one of them as soon as I made up my mind . But I will hold on to the other ones till I know what will be in the financial packages . I’m just saying
Yeah . Plus-location , school focus , match list , step scores ... SO many factorsWith tuition rates as high as they are, it’s only smart to wait until you find out.

No, only two update letters.Question: for people accepted off the waitlist, did you write a letter of intent/interest?
I was waitlisted mid January, wrote a letter of intent a week after and was accepted mid February. Not sure if the letter helped or not, but I’m sure it can’t hurt!Question: for people accepted off the waitlist, did you write a letter of intent/interest?
