I know that there will be additional activities besides what is on the facebook page. To what extent that will be or who will be included, I am not sure. I am sure they will communicate with you all when things are decided! Our school has been completely converted into a surge hospital for the Cleveland Clinic so that means that coordinating these things may be harder without easy access to their offices.

AHH congrats 🙂 when you got the initial alternate email did you just get the alt email or did you get a rejection and then an alt email the same day? super anxious and just trying to see if i have a shot of getting off the alt list haha

I never received a rejection email. Dr. Warren did mention that they were taking students off the waitlist as soon as they know spots are available! Good luck!!
 
Silence on my end, though I may be lower on the WL because I got the R email and then the WL email?

The virtual second look group has 72 members on facebook. Did they end up inviting people higher up on the waitlist?

Those are just a lot of current students who are on the page. They have pulled a few people off the waitlist so far though after others have withdrawn (at least from what I can tell based on the page, Idk anything official - although it seems some people have confirmed it here). They did not invite waitlisted students this year due to the online format.
 
Did anyone's PI get contacted recently?? My PI got a call this week but I haven't heard anything else yet so I was curious if anyone else is in a similar place.
 
Hey I was wondering about what kinds of housing options are there for CCLCM students? Are apartments better than condos/what areas are better?

Are you in the Facebook group? There is a very nice housing spreadsheet and post on there with a lot of this information. I'm in an apartment now but moving to a condo next year -that really just depends on preference. A lot of people stay in Cleveland heights area which has a bit older buildings but they're nicely priced and you can find some renovated ones.

I thought they were sending the link to accepted students, but we can double check with Dr. Warren. There is also a housing resource on Accepted Central with a roommate spreadsheet for both CCLCM and the University program. I found my roommate (UP) using that spreadsheet last year and it worked well.
 
did anyone else recently get an email saying they were still being considered for the waitlist?
 
Congrats to everyone accepted! If you don't mind, I am applying this upcoming cycle and this was a top choice for me. Anyone okay with providing LizzyM, detailed stats, ECs, or anything useful for the application process would be very appreciated 🙂
 
Sooo I'm still on the WL and my PI was contacted today -- not sure how much weight that actually has this late in the game. Does anyone have any insight?

I can't say for sure about any of this but I do know we were told the class usually stabilizes around end of may/beginning of June so it is possible there is still some last bit of waitlist movement. That's just my guess from what I've heard though so take that with a grain of salt.
 
I got an email today from CCLCM Admissions saying that they are "inactivating [my] file, and [my] application will receive no further consideration." Welp, it was a good run.
 
Has there been any waitlist movement this month? I'm assuming there won't be more movement after today since CTE deadline for this school is today?
