They just emailed my PI. I'm a bit confused by what I've seen here about that: does it mean they're seriously considering me or is that pretty standard for everyone interviewed?

speaking as someone from the last admissions release, its a pretty good sign

Is it reasonable to assume the second wave of As will come on Monday?
Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I think there were multiple weeks between PI calls and acceptances in December so I think decisions might roll out later in February.

Was like 2 weeks for me

This is awesome! If you dont mind me asking, what was your research experience like?
Started summer before undergrad and continued on through and am still in research for gap year. Don’t have too many pubs but def put my time in the labs I’ve been in. If you have any specific questions you can dm me!

Sent in my LOI on Friday. Any chance adcoms will read it before decisions go out?

Not sure, I remember them encouraging us about FAFSA but that is all I can remember.
Any accepted peeps know if we have to do the CS profile
I asked the FA office about this because it was unclear about which FA instructions to follow. I was using the one on the admitted central portal but when I emailed they said that was the university programs FA deadlines/instructions and we should follow the college programs website.

I asked the financial aid director on the case thread and he said lerner students don’t have to do it so I’ll pass that info to you and anyone else reading it

Just talked to my PI and found out he got the email/call sometime last week (interviewed pretty early in the fall)! Are we thinking decisions are next week based on the two-week gap between PI calls and acceptances in December?

Historically speaking, do we know if there were ppl who had their PIs contacted who were rejected?

Do you guys think they're done with acceptance calls and everyone who hasn't heard back yet is headed for WL/R? It seems like in previous years, A calls were mostly concentrated on one day, so I'm not sure what this means for those of us whose PIs were called and haven't heard back yet.

I think we will get waitlist emails on Wednesday if this year follows the trend. I doubt anyone will get an R this early, last year everyone ended up on the WL, and some were invited to second look later on

Congrats to all the newly accepted students! Looking forward to meeting you guys on second look weekend!

So I guess there will be no more A calls tomorrow?
