The second pic is for your license/other ID if you are applying for in-state tuition.
don’t remember doing that last time cycle + where were the instructions to do this?

If I remember correctly, it was on the secondary where you upload the pics - looking back through it, I don't see the instructions anywhere but I definitely wouldn't have uploaded a picture of my license without those instructions. Idk maybe they changed the instructions in the last month? Looking at the secondary now, all I see is the "Upload a photo of yourself" instructions but I swear it asked me for my license since I was in-state.don’t remember doing that last time cycle + where were the instructions to do this?
I focused on the medical side of things, but further explained how I hope to grow and the activities I plan to continue/start.
I used 10 years from now for both aspects. I'm pretty sure that's what they are aiming for.
Really? I interpreted it as describing myself currently and this is why I see myself doing xyz things 10 years from now...
Edit: It says describe how you see “it” 10 years from now, and from the context, it is the medical career, so I doubt its describing yourself 10 years from now.
I don't think the second photo upload matters either way. I'm IS and didn't upload a photo of my license - I was followed up with an email to provide all of the documentation (including ID photo) supporting my IS claim.. they usually will follow up or you're otherwise sound. I didn't see any instructions for specifically a driver's license either.
Sure, but one must understand what is being asked. No one is asking what is the “right” answer as if we are seeking an answer to a knowledge question. We are just ensuring we know what they are inquiring about.Guys its an OPEN ended question. The WHOLE point of these secondaries is to write what you think is the right answer.
Right. And I will say again, if they wanted the question to be super clear it would be super clear. It is written in a way that encourages individual interpretation.Sure, but one must understand what is being asked. I received no such email and I am IS as well. Hmm...
That would be best answered by the admissions office. I’m non-traditional as well and don’t have one, so I hope that doesn’t hinder me. I only did 2 years of undergrad, which was pretty much science intensive. Most non-science classes were things I got AP credit for so I have no way of getting one anyway.Does anyone know how strict they are on a non-science letter of recommendation? I'm nontraditional and definitely will have trouble finding one.

I called and asked if I could submit another science letter and they said it’d be fine. Call though just in case they have to mark that it’s been ok’d in your file or something.
I submitted 7/30 and got it yesterday. They also send pre secondary rejects so don’t stress if you haven’t heard anythingAnyone know how long it takes before you get a secondary? I know they prescreen but it’s been about 2 weeks since I sent them my primary. Wonder if I should give them a call.
no i don’t think so i got mine before my letters were inDo they only send secondary invites when your primary is 100% complete? I submitted mine 7/11 and it was under review by AMCAS until 8/6, but I did not have my committee letter until 8/15.
Fingers crossed for good news this weekJudging on past years the II's are imminent...
stats?II just now, IS. Complete email 8/1
I had a 2 week wait for a secondary. If you prewrite you could submit just after Labor Day, which isn’t extremely late I would say. Obviously a slight disadvantage but no where near a waste.Should I bother applying to this school if it takes a long time for secondaries to roll out and people are already getting interviews?
I think they keep some of the interview dates available for the II that they extend later because I just received an II and set up my interview for Sept 6. There were also some still available for Sept 2 and Sept 4.II yesterday, called to schedule today and the September 6 date is already filled.
Congrats, did they notify you today?II, OOS, LM 70. Complete email 7/11.
Yes, woke up to an email from around 10am. (Don't judge, I wake up at 4am for work, on my days off I like to sleep in as long as humanly possible!)Congrats, did they notify you today?
I also got mine today around 7 am but I’m on the west coast !!Yes, woke up to an email from around 10am. (Don't judge, I wake up at 4am for work, on my days off I like to sleep in as long as humanly possible!)
I was complete July 23rd.II IS LM 67 ish. Complete mid-July. Dates early as 9/6 scattered throughout September.
Yes. Complete email on 7/25. No interview though!Did ya'll get a complete email?
Like the other secondaries on the AAMC platform, there isn't really a way to check on your app, you just have to wait. I got my EVMS confirmation/complete email about 10 days after I submitted with all materials complete.Anyone know how we could check the status of our application once submitted? I already have everything submitted but the portal doesn’t show anything received. Do I just wait for the complete Email now?

I was verified by AMCAS 3 weeks ago. I have not received a secondary but have also not received a rejection email. Anyone else in same boat? (OOS)
