I was put on hold on Friday but then was back under review as of yesterday... did this happen to anyone else?

What days of the week did they have interviews available? (If you remember)
 
I know it is difficult to wait for an interview, but Loyola will be holding interviews on Tuesdays and Thursdays until end of February. Try not to compare yourself to others - stay in your own lane. Someone can get an interview in August and get rejected and you can get one in March and be accepted - the timeline does not mean much. It is up to you to secure your own acceptance! If you do not hear anything, don't hesitate to send an update in Nov/Dec. 🙂

Have any of you sent update letters/letters of interest to Loyola after your interview? I'm debating sending one before Oct. 15th rolls around but I'm unsure if it would even impact my admissions decision at this point (I interviewed Sept 12th).

I did! I sent an update for a publication I got. I interviewed late-August, for reference.

Your admissions decision has been made already. Wait for a decision. At this point (5 days away) it has been made.
 
Does anyone who interviewed mid september remember if they said anything about when we'll start hearing back? Just wondering if it's likely we'll hear back on the 15th or if it'll be later

Based on last year you could be in the first batch or later in October/ early november
 
My Loyola friends who already interviewed - hoping that the news comes on-time tomorrow and that yours is all GOOD NEWS!! Take care of yourselves, sleep, meditate, deep breathe - whatever works for you. And no matter what decisions come your way, your value and worth is 100% intrinsic. If you are met with disappointment, familiarize yourself with a little Ignatian indifference, and hopefully that'll bring you some peace when you need it. Sending all the good vibes!

Hey there! Sorry, I was in a work meeting haha. Don't mind sharing at all!

3.5x/3.3x cGPA/sGPA, 512 MCAT. Great ECs: 3000+ clinical hours, 500+ non-clinical with underserved, tons of research (two pubs), and some unique ECs (for undergrads at least lol). Phenomenal LORs. There's no question my ECs and LORs are carrying me HARD this cycle.

Keep those hopes up bb. Your time is coming, and I'm gonna be right here wooping it up for you! :clap:

EDIT: Forgot to say I'm ORM as well!
