Happy New Year’s Eve everyone! I’ve been complete since 8/10 and haven’t heard back yet. I know that RWJ is the one of the few schools (correct me if I’m wrong and lmk if there are other schools that do this also lol) that you can email admissions to discuss the status of your application. Has anyone done that (for this school or in general) and was it successful? Thanks!

I’m not sure, but I’d say do it as soon as you’re able. I ordered mine a week after I got accepted and it’s still pending so I’m not sure how long the process takes

Oh now I see what you’re saying. It seems like the people who got calls at the end of February weren’t expecting it. I haven’t heard anything besides March so I guess we’ll have to see ‍

They are two COMPLETELY different schools. When state schools do this, where there are multiple medical schools under a larger school umbrella, the schools underneath that umbrella are entirely different entities. How you feel about one says nothing about the other school; it would be like trying to compare to medical schools that happen to be in the same state-they are not the same.

You only receive the email for an acceptance. I guess some schools can opt to have you complete that if you were waitlisted, but that is not common!

They probably won't answer that. You should instead ask to speak with an admissions officer about advice/help on your app, and then during the conversation, maybe ask about where you are/interview spots remaining/etc... RWJMS is really open to helping students so give it a shot!

Ahh okay the reason why I emailed that is because in one of their emails they said that you can email them in regards to your application status. But thanks for the advice!
