12 months is all you need! Check out their NYS resident forms on their site for the things you'd need

It looks like deadline to apply for residency is mid July for this year, so I am assuming it will be around the same time for next year. I am OOS and hoping to start a lease in early July for this reason. Hope this helps.

Interestingly it seems the acceptance off the 5/10 list and 5/6 list came at different times, which I find... peculiar. I wonder if it'll continue like that.

Based on the number of likes from a previous post, I believe there's 15+ SDN peeps who are on 5/10, which doesn't account for individuals who do not have an account.
So don't worry! We're still in this together, even alongside the 5/6 people!

First-generation immigrants are those individuals who immigrated to the United States when they are older than age 17; second-generation refers to individuals who were either born in the United States or immigrated to the United States prior to age 7 (Portes & Rumbaut, 2001).

There is no pattern. They’ve come out at midnight, mid day, at 11:20, at 12:30, at 6, at 7 etc lol. Most frequently, they’ve come out at night but even that is changing
