Anyone know if/how stats average compare across the different campuses? Are they higher for Seattle?
I'm not aware if they release that, although I'd imagine that they are about the same, at least for the Washington campuses. Possibly lower in other states as there are less students overall applying in the other WWAMI locations so there's likely going to be less overachievers by default.

Underachievers can’t survive a winter in the Arctic.

Hey y’all, I received the confirmation email that they received my residency verification packet on August 22nd...so we are 3 days away from 6 weeks.

They have not asked for any more documentation and there has been no additional communication...how should I follow up?

Did they update your status to residency verified or just acknowledging receipt of packet? Are you from Washington or one of the other WWAMI states?

They never updated the status, they just said they had received it.

Yes, I was born and raised in Wa, married here, had a child here, worked here last 5 years, go to undergrad here. Their only reasoning for the packet is because I was stationed OOS for 9 months like 6 years ago.

Here's a screenshot of the applicable instructions for my residency verification packet at UW.
I'd say give them two weeks from today to update your status. If it's updated, great. If not, you have a good reason to contact them with a follow-up.

Did anyone who was complete late August hear back yet? Thanks!

The other states have this information available. I emailed admissions a while ago for Wyoming and they sent me a couple years worth of stats.

Anyone else have their Casper status change after submission? When I checked my status after getting a "completed application" message notification, my status for Casper was green. But now that I'm looking again, it's marked red as incomplete? I took Casper the day before I was marked "completed application". Should I reach out or am I just being neurotic?

It takes ~3 weeks after you take the Casper exam for schools to get your score. If its been longer than 3 weeks, I would definitely reach out.

Submitted my OOR mission statement 8/10, still haven’t heard back. Anyone in the same boat?
I submitted mine early August too and I got a response on 8/21 saying i don't fulfill the OOS qualities they're looking for

Alaskan Applicant!
Application was complete on 9/17. Nothing yet.

WIll keep updating ~

OOS applicant, complete 9/3, told that I would not receive a secondary.

Alaskan applicant here. Got the complete email 9/17. Residency was verified sometime late September (they didn’t send me an email but it was updated on their portal). No word yet!

How long did it take between submitting residency verification to having it updated on your portal?

Complete email today! IS, residency verification packet group, initial packet submitted 8/6.

Who is still waiting on secondary response for OOS after submitting the mission statement? This week is the 8 week mark and the email said 5-8 weeks. Should I just consider this an R?

I think Seattle had an interview last Friday!
I had a classmate interview. I shall ask her how it went.
Awesome, thanks. I'm interviewing tomorrow. Definitely nervous but also super excited!

Now this is pure speculation, but would it be reasonable to think that the first few rounds of interviews will have a higher density of accepted and/or alternate listed applicants.

Yea i submitted my pre-secondary 8/12. Anyone think there's still a chance? Even if we get a secondary, it's getting late in the process.

To anyone with the verification packet, if it helps I FINALLY got the email that they have reached packets received 8/20 - 8/30.....They are slow and claim "We did not anticipate the volume." Lawlz.

Did you send back a response "well did you learn your lesson about sending such in depth verification??"

I interviewed last week! It was surprisingly very welcoming, and the role play wasn’t as intimidating as it seem. I would definitely love to come to this school.you have a long opportunity to ask questions to faculty and medical students, which I greatly appreciated

University of Wyoming in Laramie. It's awesome that they schedule it at the end of January because I'm sure there won't be any snow /s

edit: there is an ortho elective in Jackson hole!
Bruh...If I could’ve applied to the Missoula or the Laramie Campus...I would be much more WWAMI gung ho, OMG. Well, snow or not congrats! Lol

I'm pretty sure you can rotate throughout the whole region if you want! you'll just be in Washington for the first 2 years

Lol yes you definitely can! If I were single the rotation requirements would be seen as an opportunity. Given that I have a family, I view it more of a burden (a burden I would gladly take with an A, UW if you are reading...)

Anyone have anything to say about what a pre-II hold means for my chances? I'm an MSTP applicant and just got the email that says "I apologize that we have not made a final decision on inviting you to interview. You are currently highly placed in the "hold" list category. We receive a large number of applications and many are re-reviewed at future committee meetings. Your application has been included in this category."

Any feedback would be helpful!

Has anyone OOR who submitted their mission statement early August heard back yet? They said the review takes 5-8 weeks and it just passed the 8-week mark for me and I have heard nothing /: anyone else had silence and past the 8-week mark?

Edit: Just got the R today. Complete 8/13
