Seems like their's was a bit of an anomaly in being so early (congrats btw!)? Is there any other info about when we should expect besides the "8 weeks" they put in the email?
No idea...I got asked to come in for a 2nd interview so I'm guessing it will be even later for me lol
Edit: you could look back at last year's thread to get a sense of when most of the early interviewees were hearing then
Are you doing MD/PhD?No idea...I got asked to come in for a 2nd interview so I'm guessing it will be even later for me lol

They do like 6 rounds of Spokane campus interview blocks, right?Just got the scheduling invite for the Spokane campus. The days available were November 18-21!
Maybe it is only 2 rounds of spokane interviews....I remember there are only a few of them....I don’t think so since they’re only interviewing 100
Omg a second interview?!?! That sounds so stressful. Did they tell you why they asked you to come back?
Are you doing MD/PhD?
Not MD/PhD...I already have a PhD! Then I would be MrsDrDrDr!!! And also more ancient than The Ancient One when I got done lol
They said there was some discrepancy between the interviewers' impressions of me so they wanted me to come back and interview again with 3 new people so that I would definitely get a fair shot. They mentioned that this is not uncommon. It is totally stressful, but I'm viewing it as one more awesome opportunity to shoot my shot!
I wonder if they only do that because they know that their interviews are all regional? That is super stressful and unfortunate, but I suppose equitable of them to ensure you get a fair shot. Good luck! Don't know why I asked about PhD lol Knew you had one.Not MD/PhD...I already have a PhD! Then I would be MrsDrDrDr!!! And also more ancient than The Ancient One when I got done lol

When did you receive your interview invite?Just got the scheduling invite for the Spokane campus. The days available were November 18-21!
No II but I was verified as a WA resident like a week ago (7 weeks after submission) so....progress?Anyone from the residency packet cohort get an II yet?
I did a few weeks ago! ~ 10 days after being verifiedAnyone from the residency packet cohort get an II yet?
Yeah, I was verified about 2 weeks ago. Hoping to hear soon! Have gotten no love from my state schools! No II but I was verified as a WA resident like a week ago (7 weeks after submission) so....progress?
Nope!Any Idahoans out there received II yet?
I interviewed two weeks ago and the email they sent after the fact said it would take about 8 weeks to hear back with an A/R/Still Under Consideration. Now whether or not that means we’ll hear exactly at 8 weeks or sometime within that 8 weeks I’m not sure.Anyone who interviewed in Seattle in the last couple weeks ask your interviewers/Sarah when we might hear back? Or when the next excom meeting is?
Yes, at least small bags and coats.Anyone know if they have a space to store luggage during interview day?
Wish I knew. I had heard every two weeks, but that might just be what they try to do. I think this year has been a little more hectic than usual though. Last year the first batch of A's started going out this week I believe.Anyone else hearing news on As, or know when/how often the EXCOM is meeting?
Email?!II!
Alaskan resident. Complete 9/17.
Are you Alaskan Leeyu9?Email?!

No!Any Idahoans out there received II yet?
Interviewing tomorrow in Seattle, heard this interview is a bit more stressful than others. Does anyone that has already interviewed have any advice/thoughts on the day?
Bless, thank you I missed this somehow. If you haven't yet, take a good look at the interview questions on the UWSOM website. Many common topics for the interview.

Good luck!
Yes about 30-35!Thank you! Is it really only 30 minutes? That seems so short
Does anyone have any input on their interview experience? How was the role play component?
From Wyoming and received an II last week. Very excited to interview, but have heard horror stories about the interview from a few current WWAMI students and some who didn’t get in.

Best of luck to you all! Here’s to our future!
Thank you for that. Makes me relax a little! What was your impression of the program from a Seattle point of view?Honestly, the role play is the easiest part. Its maybe 5 minutes and just a normal human interaction.
Just be ready to answer questions like they have on the UWSOM website. Can't speak for the rest of the day as I was in Seattle, not Laramie, but good luck!

That’s great to “hear”. Financially it’s a great opportunity, and coming from rural and hoping to come back to rural, I would live the opportunities to learn to care for rural populations while also learning skills in urban facilities. We’ll see how this interview goes; it’s been a LONG road.I love it. Top choice. UWSOM if you are reading this, I can't wait to be accepted! 😍
Seriously though, I'd love to study here with lots opportunities to work with urban underserved the first couple years and then the chance to rotate so many places in year 3 and 4. The atmosphere is really collaborative, and I felt like there is a lot of room/support to explore specialties even if most people go into primary care.
Thank you!! Ironically, long distance isn’t my thing, but I do truly enjoy fitness, exercise, and puns...so it works! I am only able to get in about 3-5 miles a week. It’s a great outlet though. Best of luck as you start to get back into it, no better way to let of steam IMO.Also, I love your username! Trying to get back into some long running myself!

My interviewers were extremely welcoming, and they asked questions that were definitely fair game, given the practice questions they lost online. That being said, I was actually a bit thrown off by my role play. It was unclear how much information should have been a given vs. I should have asked for. But the scenario was short and not a focal point of the interview. From Wyoming and received an II last week. Great honest answer! Thank you!! Thank you! This makes me relax a lot! Also interviewed Seattle, but personally found it very low stress and conversational, and role play was actually kind of fun. Just be yourself!
