Yes, the NBME is like the final for the unit: for example, at the end of your GI/Renal unit, you will have a "final" exam of past NBME GI/Renal questions.Thank you so much!!! Is the NBME like the "final" for the unit? How do you feel about the professor-written exams? Do both professor-written and NBME exams factor into the grade equally? Sorry for all the questions; I appreciate it!
If I remember correctly, it is F/P/honors, right?Current M1. Congrats to everyone receiving acceptances and to those on the wait list, don't lose hope!
The Class of 2024 will be the 3rd class to move through the curriculum, so they have worked out the kinks with the new curriculum.
It is pass/fail.
12 weeks for dedicated, although most students do not take this long.
Yes, but honors is not decided until after the end of the year once all exams are taken and all scores analyzedIf I remember correctly, it is F/P/honors, right?
Accepted last Thursday night! Super excited. I noticed in the portal you need to fill out an offer response as accept or do not accept. Is this an official response or just one that holds your offer? Thank you!
No idea but it sounds like another interviewGot this as well. Any thoughts on this?

Unfortunately, it’s very true. I have several friends in graduate programs at Wayne and they’ve had to jump through hoops regarding administrative matters. Can someone talk about the common perception that the Wayne State administration is disorganized? Is this a myth or true?
It has the exact address where to send it on the MD checklist that was sent to you in the mail. I believe it’s just the office of admissions IIRCDoes anyone know how and where to send in the official transcript? Do we just send the official transcript to admission email?

I took a September MCAT and after receiving my score, I met some Adcom members. They told me to still apply. I was desperate to avoid waiting another year.
My concern is how do they really "look" at almost 10,000 applicants, and whether late (Nov-Dec) competitive applications are just a donation to Wayne.
Hey same situation as you, adcom told me the same thing that a late application is not a problem:/. Now they telling me that I should have applied early lol.
Do you know how many interviews they offer? Right now it is showing something like 13-1400. How many are left? 2 lol?
Hmm I'm not sure about them interviewing until March. When did you hear this information?According to my mentor in the adcom, they are deliberating for the final interview spots. They will be interviewing till March.

You're going to love it! I've lived in the city for 5 years and it's gotten better every year! I'm excited to be able to learn and train where I live after working in the burbsah congrats to whoever is going to be attending this coming year, I am so excited! the program really seems in integrated with the community, and detroit seems like a really cool and vibrant city to live in. I was very surprised at how much I liked the city![]()
Well if I don't get an interview this cycle(Most likely), what do you guys think I should do? Apply EDP or apply the first day? I was pretty late to submit due to an unforeseen illness during the summer, I had lost my vision and took the mcat on the last day. Wayne is my first choice.
I’m having the same problem !Anyone seeing "runtime error" "server error in / application" on the pre-matriculation portal? I can't seem to open it.
