When was the last date they sent II out?
Pretty sure it was 11/4 from what I can see in this thread. It should be every two weeks, which would have fallen the day before Thanksgiving. I assumed that they would have come out yesterday because of the Thanksgiving delay, but I haven't heard anything.

Quick question, I attended VAVD last month, but I never received any invite to a “personalized applicant portal”. Can anyone tell me more about that?

Did other November VAVD attendants get the portal? I’m wondering if this is a bad sign.

The personalized applicant portal is pretty much meaningless until you're accepted. It just has information that you can find on their website. However, once you are accepted, I'm pretty sure this is where you accept your offer, submit transcripts, and stuff like that.

I got my personalized applicant portal access via email at exactly 5 PM on the day of my VAVD. It had the subject line of "Your Personalized Applicant Portal", so you may want to double-check that it didn't get sent to your spam folder or anything. The url for this is just your name in the following format.

https://futuremd.phoenixmed.arizona.edu/JohnParker/landing

I would try just changing that name yours and seeing if it gives you access. You could also try making an account at Inquiry Form : University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix

I have no idea if other November VAVD attendants got the portal, but I assume they did. At the same time, I definitely would not assume that it is a bad sign. It probably just got lost in your email. Either way, you could always email [email protected] to clarify. They're super helpful!

To people that were told they would hear back but did not end up getting a call? Were you deferred, reject, or waitlisted? And was that via email/around what time?

My VAVD was on 11/3 and I also didn't receive any invite for the personalized applicant portal. I received an email with a post-interview survey but that was all!

I was deferred and got the email for it on the same day they said we would hear back later in the afternoon

Idk but 50% or more of the class must be IS.

To everyone that got the acceptance call from Dr. Fogerty, what time did that happen?
My call was around 8am ish AZ time, I live on the east coast so his call actually woke me up lol. Make sure your phones are on ring!

best of luck to you all!!! 😊

From my experience so far on the #deferredgang, I have noted over the past few months that calls begin going out around 10am Arizona time. Hoping the best to everyone today but don't beat yourself up if you get deferred, it seems they do it to a lot of interviewees based on their interview numbers so far. Being relatively small and new, I think this program likes to see all their options before they make most of their decisions to ensure they offer admissions to the best applicants.

I of course convince myself of this to feel better.

+1, when I got the call on 11/2, it was about 8:15 am AZ time. Good luck everyone!

Same... do we think results aren’t coming out today? It seems like it’s getting late compared to usual
Im wondering if the fact that its labor day has something to do with it? But I dont think they wouldve given out a concrete date if they werent already aware of that

I have two different written (email) confirmations stating that I would hear back on 12/7 after going to the 10/20 VAVD. Unless Dr. Fogerty had a family emergency, calls should be going out today. Even then, I would expect that someone else would make calls or they would send out emails telling us to not expect decisions. This school does a pretty good job of keeping applicants updated throughout the process, so they wouldn't just ghost us today.

But Labor Day was Monday, September 6?
