Probably will be rejections and waitlists tomorrow should it follow last years cycle; waitlist movement will be next towards the end of April
If you don’t mind me asking, when did you send in a letter of intent? Also, congrats!ACCEPTED THIS MORNING!!!! Interviewed in december. I sent a letter of intent so I will be attending!
Yeah I haven’t heard anything :/So nobody heard anything today right?
Nope. So I’m guessing next week Fri will be the last rounds of As.So nobody heard anything today right?
Wait, I thought there were only 260 slots? 🤔I really doubt this. They are expecting 300 students for this year's class and the facebook group has only ~130 people. Just to put this into context, last year's facebook group has over 350 people for an even smaller class.
Darn. I knew that was too good to be trueOh wait, you are right. I misinterpreted this article Medical College of Georgia looking to grow across state
Okay just to be sure I am good. MCG takes fafsa only and the fafsa # is the same for the general university?
is there a deposit to pay after acceptance
I don't see it at the moment. I was accepted 2/12/2021. What about you?those who have been accepted: can you guys see MCG on your choose your medical school tool?
The website says July 26Anyone know when’s the first day of classes ?
I dont know for sure but I know there has historically been quite a bit of movement in late AprilAlso recieved a waitlist email. Does anyone know what the waitlist looks like for MCG?
I think so. the email said they were finished with preliminary acceptancesDoes this all so mean they are done with acceptances?
Me too brother. Cant hold the Pandas back foreverWaitlisted....damn
You have said this twice now today, and you could be right, but it is really just unnecessary speculation. People who have been/ will be rejected are much less likely to post.Wow. Looks like everyone that didn't get accepted got waitlisted. I will see everyone in May I guess. 👋 👋 👋
I did find out that at least one rejection went out Friday because I heard about through a mutual friend. So you’re most likely correct in assuming that people that got rejected are much less likely to post about it.You have said this twice now today, and you could be right, but it is really just unnecessary speculation. same thingI see a lot of people got waitlisted. I received an email about being on the alternate list. What is the difference between waitlist and alternate list for the Medical College of Georgia?
I guess I am also just wondering if the alternate list is synonymous with the waitlist for MCG. I know it can be different for different universities but I haven't been able to find answer for MCG specifically.same thing

Thank you!it is the same
There are some spots in the Cancer parking deck close to the building. Otherwise, you can park by the gas station on 15th street and Laney Walker, across the train tracks, or at the nearby high school. For current students: I just visited Augusta this weekend and looked around campus. I found the Harrison Education Buiding, but I barely saw any parking for med students, even on the campus map. Where do you park?
I was wondering the same thingfor those waitlisted, we are supposed to send final transcripts after we graduate? I graduate in the spring so I guess I dont send mine until it's final?
