I got an email at night, actually! It just said congratulations and gave next step instructions. And I interviewed 9/22 as well.
Does anyone know anything about a facebook group?
UPDATE: Turns out I got a phone call but I was interviewing at a diff school lol, just now got the voicemail notification!

Congratulations! This is kind of a vague question but how did you feel after you interviewed? I interviewed yesterday and overall I felt positive but I keep thinking about how I could have responded better.
Open to hearing thoughts from anyone who has interviewed!

I am stressing over the call haha
I am stressing over the call haha
My guess? Not until at least 10/21, which is their next official notification day. But likely after that still.

I would say I felt similar!🙂 Positive but I remember later thinking about how I could have answered better, definitely don’t think I absolutely killed the interview you know? If it helps remember you have a foot in the door, they love your stats and ECs if you’re getting interviewed this early, and interview is just to get to know you a little better!! As long as you don’t say anything widely inappropriate or are super awkward should be fine haha

Congrats!!!!!! If you do hear anything about a fb group please let me know! I got accepted EAP and have been anxiously awaiting fellow accepted people
I can start a FB group if that’s allowed. Do I need special permissions from MSU or anything?? Ive also been an anxious EAP admit!

I’m not sure if permission is needed or not. I’ve heard from friends who have matriculated at other schools in previous years that the school usually makes one around January-ish? But don’t quote me on that!
You could always email and ask? If they decline we could do an informal GroupMe or something I suppose.

Yes, however, all of my supplemental materials (MCAT, LORs & CASPer) had already been received by their office.
Did anyone get waitlisted or rejected after doing the interview?

hey guys I'm a little confused with the interview process. I know there's a student interview and a faculty interview, but where does the "modified mmi" fit in? thank you!

Faculty member gives you questions through a modified mmi format- no access to file
Student interviewers has partial access to your app general questions; low stress

Congrats! When were you complete?
Woah congrats!! When was your complete date/are you IS or OOS?
Also as just a general idea from what I've seen med schools accept many more than matriculate so I'd say there's still a good shot at getting in!
For those who already interviewed, were you allowed to take notes during the 2 minute prep time for the MMI questions?

The MMI is very informal, and I didn't find this necessary at all. There's no "prep-time," per se, because you're on screen with the faculty member interviewing you the entire time. That said, they give you as much time as you need to view the screen with the MMI scenario before discussing it with them, and for situations that required me to write stuff down to remember it, I was explicitly told I could do so. I wouldn't hesitate to ask if a particular scenario seems to require it!
