got the email, complete 9/27
I'm not sure, they were pretty vague about what they were trying to say. To anyone who is curious about what the email said:
"At this time, I am writing to update you on the status of your application. The Admissions Selection Committee is working diligently to review applications and determine which applicants will receive an interview invitation. As previously mentioned, this process can take several weeks, as each application is personally read by a member on the Committee. Please rest assured that your application is still under consideration. While we understand that this may be a stressful period, we greatly appreciate your patience. "
You deserve a medal for your service to the community today. Thanks for putting in the work! I feel much better.OK. so I was about to go crazy with this email so I did some stalking on last year's thread. It seems like the email held no value!!!!!!!!!! SO WE CAN RELAX!!!! people who did not receive the email got II and people who did received the email also got II. Nobody knows why Rush even sent that email (last year was the school's first try with the email).

Oh I’m sure they’d probably send you an email after that... just not the one you’d want haha.No email. Complete 7/14. This is an outrage. I am writing admissions and demanding an email.

I also read that update email and thought it was an R lol, Rush is probably one of my favorite schools so it'd be an absolute honor to interview here, but we'll see! Best of luck to y'all, rooting for you <3
When were the people who got this email complete?
I did not get that email. Or any email. My portal is looking the same as usual. It probably means nothing....but what if it means something.
interviewing at any school earlier increases your chance of acceptance: more available As to give, getting early II means you were a priority for II. However, at my current school (Loyola) I have met 3 students who interviewed on the last day. And a great friend who is a M1 at rush, interviewed the second to last day and got in!!! Heres the reality: what determines if you get in or not is how you do on interview day. Everything else is minimal. Every interview is a chance to get an A, and its only worth worrying about what you can control!I remember you saying you interviewed with Rush previously in earlier posts, so I was wondering if you have any idea whether interviewing earlier with Rush increases chances of acceptance? Thanks in advance!

Current student here who interviewed in February last year on one of their last available dates. I got accepted outright without being waitlisted or put on hold first and so did many of my current classmates from my same interview date! Although theoretically it might seem like you have a greater chance to get accepted if you interview earlier on, I don’t think interviewing later means you have less chances here. Rush is already picky with who they interview hence why they have a pretty high post-interview acceptance rate (~60% if I remember correctly), so if you get an interview at any time point you already have a really good shot! Good luck!I remember you saying you interviewed with Rush previously in earlier posts, so I was wondering if you have any idea whether interviewing earlier with Rush increases chances of acceptance? No problem! If you or anyone else has any other questions, I’d be happy to help in whatever way I can! My DMs are open 🙂Thank you so much! I really appreciate your answer!
if it's the email that everyone received, I think Rush meant that they are receptive to updates now (they didnt allow updates before). You don't have to update them right now though!Got the weird email. It mentioned updates...does this mean that they want us to update them on what we have been doing now (instead of around December) or am I overanalyzing this
Mine did! The night before my interview the specific order of the interviews, names of interviewers, and time showed up on Thalamusdoes the actual interview schedule appear before interview day at all or am I not going to know until the morning of? would like an idea of when the individual interview times are beforehand.
