If you don't get tabs today, you're basically considered for A/WL on the next dates, right?
Do you have the message below that saying they’re using CASPer? Cause I do but marked them on CASPer a long time agoCongrats to those who were accepted today! Does anyone know when VCU typically sends out interview invites? I've been on "Your File Review is now complete. If you are granted an interview, you will receive a status update on your applicant portal. Please do not call the Admissions Office requesting special dates." for a couple of weeks and am getting antsy. Thanks!
Yes--I also marked them on CASPer a few months ago. I figured they mentioned CASPer as a PSA rather than an incomplete requirementDo you have the message below that saying they’re using CASPer? Cause I do but marked them on CASPer a long time ago
I think it’s neither an A nor a waitlist?Interviewed on 8/27 and nothing today! It says the whole “your application is being placed on hold for possible future acceptance thing. I guess that means waitlist? I dunno
You could have just said it’s an R... oh well. I have an acceptance somewhere else, luckilyI think it’s neither an A nor a waitlist?

Omg I didn’t mean that!! It just means they haven’t decided yet!!! I’m sorry! You could have just said it’s an R... oh well. I have an acceptance somewhere else, luckily
Oh, I guess I just have to wait until the next date.it’s not. I remember the admission say you will actually get a R after II if that’s the case
WAIT I JUST GOT THIS MESSAGE TOO BUT I NEVER WENT TO SUB COMMITTEE IS THIS A REJECTION 🙁Do you have the message below that saying they’re using CASPer? Cause I do but marked them on CASPer a long time ago
Where did you learn all this information? This would mean that the post-II acceptance rate is much lower than the purported 50%.
anyone who was complete in July recently got an II?
interviewed 8/26. No tabs, No rejection email. Does anyone know what this might mean?
You read the prompt in the big room with all the other applicants and then get 7 minutes in the breakout room with your interviewer. Also, you don't get to take notes during the 2 minutes. When I entered the breakout room, I would smile, maybe a friendly wave, and waited to be greeted and then introduced myself. (I waited because they have to write down your name when you enter the room, so they are busy for the first handful of seconds and I didn't want to be rude by beginning if they weren't ready yet). It feels very natural and they encourage you to think of it as conversational. You will most likely get to say your name as all of my interviews included an exchange of names. Don't overthink it! I am sure you will do GREAT as long as you are yourself! 🙂I was wondering, did you guys introduce yourself at the beginning of each MMI session? And if you did, was it after or during the 2 minutes of reading and taking notes?

It is plus waitlist YOURE about 45 percentWhere did you learn all this information? This would mean that the post-II acceptance rate is much lower than the purported 50%.
For those who have interviewed, approximately how long did you take to respond to the question and how many mins did you leave for follow-up questions?
cGPA: 4.0Congrats! Would you mind sharing your stats?
Sounds like they’ve scheduled out most of their cycle by now. But worry not, as people are accepted they will drop their interviews there will be more to come.VCU hasn't sent out any interview invites for the past month pretty much, does anyone know if they send out in batches once a month or something?? Kinda worried, ngl.
I'm not buying this. It's not November yet. Schools send out interviews until the first months of 2021. To say they've scheduled out "most of their cycle by now," I would need to see some evidence.Sounds like they’ve scheduled out most of their cycle by now. N=1 but my friend got an II last week and it was scheduled for end of October. Who knows what schools doI'm not buying this. It's not November yet. both the October and September slots opening are exactly my point. Those were previously full— that’s why people were scheduling for February. As people withdraw their interviews these spots need to be full. Many many many more interviews will be given out. I was in no way saying they’re down for the cycle. But it sounds like for the most part they had at least initially filled out to February. As people withdraw, more interviews will go out. I’m sure there will even be interview invites extended a week or two before the last interview. When I received my interview, they gave me an option for September even though this forum said everything was booked until 2021. My best guess would be that they keep some interview slots unfilled purposefully to give them more flexibility with their interview invites.

YesI have a few questions for those who interviewed. I went through the feed so far and came up with the following:
- Is there a different interviewer for every station?
- Is the interview closed or open file? (I have read conflicting posts in this thread)
- Are we able to view the timer that the interviewer is using/can we have a clock in the room/can we use the computer clock to time ourselves?
- Can I ask clarification questions during the two minute prep time?
- Can I have a clear no-label bottle of water beside me during the interview?
- Are there scheduled bathroom/nutrition breaks?
I do apologize for the long post in advance
same...Is anything moving here? I have not received a " review complete" status and I had everything completed since July lol
It is just how their reviewing system works. When your file comes in, it is put into many different priority piles and get passed around and prioritized. Your file has not been prioritized up to this point for it to reach its terminal step in the review process. All I means is that so far your file has not been prioritized.same...
I got my information 5 days prior to the interview dateFor those of you who have had your interviews, when did you receive the Zoom link and other information?
