To be fair I interviewed last week so there's no way I should expect that fast of a turn around but man, that subject line made me feel so elated

I got that email an i thought it was an interview invite. Imma be mad if they send me a rejection after pulling my heart strings like that.

This 100% must've been the email they sent out Oct 14th for their acceptees or future interviewees

This seems like you've been accepted since you already had your interview. The text body is incorrect though. I would give them a call if I were you guys. Wishing you all the best; I hope you've been accepted!
I have not heard anything about II or an R. The email I got was basically “we’ve been busy because of COVID. So sorry. Please be patient. We’ll get to you soon.”

Okay called and clarified, wrong email was sent and any true acceptance or decision would show up as a status change in the portal

So most of the As listed on the admissions tracker haven't gone out yet? So basically we're waiting on like 100 more As??
I really hope if I didn't get one of those emails that doesn't mean I won't be accepted 🙁 🙁 🙁
I feel like if it only greeted accepted students rather than also those that have received an interview offer then there'd be more room for panic. But given that its inclusive of both those groups I don't think you have to worry

Nope, I submitted my secondary mid October because of my late September MCAT. I honestly thought I was gonna have a heart attack but then realize it was a direct interview invite but rather a stay patient we will get to you soon. I pretty much just finessed secodnaries for all schools I applied to so i was gonna be ecstatic to get an interview invite before thanksgiving next week if possible.

I got the same email. Made my heart drop when I read "thank you for applying to WSUSOM". Thought it was a rejection email!

My interview was on the 23rd, so it hasn't reached 4 weeks yet otherwise I'd call

I interviewed 4 weeks ago today. I bit the bullet and just called admissions. All they said was "you should hear back within 4 weeks, sometimes it can take a little longer or shorter than that so just keep checking your email and AMP." I guess we should all remain patient and positive as hard as it may be 🙂
