Nope! +4 students means that’s how many were added to the portal on that specific day. Remember that people are still declining their acceptances, so it’s more like +4 accepted and -5 withdrew their acceptances! I just don’t write the # withdrew because I figured it would make sense hopefully? 🙂

If they are finished, the thirds were not large numbers. It would be a good sign. Maybe someone still in the top and waiting can respond.

Hey everyone, current M1 here. We just took our NBME on 5/21 and the retake is scheduled for 6/4. Only after the retake will they know how many M1's have to repeat the year. I was top third from wait list last year and didn't hear anything until early June. Be patient, be confident, and don't get discouraged seeing everyone get in. If it is meant for you it will be. Good luck!
Has anyone contacted admissions lately to get a gauge for how far into the top third they are? Middle third here
I don't think this information is available. I sent an email Monday to try and see if they could let me know any more specifics about my waitlist position within the top third, but they gave me a, "no more information is available about your waitlist position at this time." They might be more open with the general question of where they are in the top third, but everything I've seen has made me believe that I shouldn't expect any more detailed information from them.
Thank you! Do you have any idea how far down the waitlist they made it last year? Happen to know of any classmates who were in the middle/bottom third?

Anecdotally I know of a few students who declined their acceptance and I see their names on the portal still. I am assuming that they are just behind on updating this week.

Hi guys… just wondering… how many people received the email after their interview:
“Although we cannot offer you a position in our entering class at this time, you received a strong rating from the committee and we expect you will be very high on our alternate list.”
but were placed on the middle third of the waitlist… I guess I’m asking what middle third people were told after their interview-kinda to gauge what the top of the middle third looks like.

curious if this -3 were the folks you knew had withdrawn (that you mentioned in another post) or if there might be more movement there 🙂
I knew some, and I know of more who have withdrawn after being accepted somewhere else. Hoping there is more movement, but I know they're waiting to add the current M1s

Looking at past threads for BSOM, it seems like movement starts to slow down around mid-June - but there is still hope, so hang in there. It's not over till it's over! <3
