Does a Chromebook count as a PC? Also, does anyone who has done the system check not to get the option to continue in the teams app, but is taken straight to the browser window

I went straight to the browser window - I'm pretty sure it is fine, but contact admissions for reassurance.

PC is preferred but as long as you pass the systems check you should be fine. I borrowed a friend's PC for interview day that didn't end up working, so I used my Mac and it worked great

Not that close nearby! My interview day was about 50/50 OOS and IS, with quite a few bearcats

When I did my interview they told us several times to make sure we hit cancel and then continue in browser. I had the option to open the app every time e switched rooms. Turned out fine.

I saw on their updates section in the portal there's an option for Pre-II LOI. Anyone know how they view these//whether or not it's worth submitting one?

Updates are useful but LOI are not. LOI apparently aren't that important to UC.

received an II yesterday! I actually only found out about it because of a diversity email I received, and am yet to receive an official email from UC inviting me for the interview (had to log onto the portal to confirm it was real). Just want to warn people since they only give you 5 days to accept the invite!

They told us on my interview day, October 6th, that the admissions committee will meet in two weeks and give us a decision the third week. I also believe they mentioned that the committee meets on Friday if that helps at all.

Also interviewed 9/22. They said we had three days to send a thank you if we wanted to, so I’m thinking the admissions committee met that Friday (Or very soon after). Thinking we will hear back today. Good luck to all!!

They told us we can upload thank you notes/letters to the portal. That way all of the admission committee members and interviewers can see it! 🙂

Same here, but received today. Do you know the specifics/schedule of the First Look event? The email said that the schedule was attached but I wasn't sure if they meant in the email itself or somewhere on the portal.

ACCEPTED!!! Got a call at 4:22pm but I was at work so I just listened to the voicemail. Interviewed 9/22. I'm literally crying I don't even care about any other school! Hoping more people get those As soon!!
