they stop interviewing the last week of April usually.

realistically you’re interviewing for the waitlist after mid January but that’s not a bad thing! a lot of my class was on the waitlist at some point and there’s movement for sure in the summer

send updates if you have anything meaningful, attend first fridays (and try to be seen!), and be patient

several people will, it’s just early in the process (they interview into late April), they extend interviews to applicants with below 500 for sure and there are a few in our class that made it! don’t be discouraged if you have a gpa and extracurrics to compensate
 
If I attend first Friday’s can I leave an come back? I have an appointment about 1.5 hours into it

What is the right way to send updates to Howard Admissions?
 
Has anyone sent an update letter? Did they give you a confirmation email that it was received?
 
So my GPA improved by 0.2 after the fall semester and I want to email my transcript so the admissions office can have an update of my grades but previous email from Howard states not to send them?? Like I know I shouldn't but I also want to update what's on file for me.... Any advice?

maybe in an update letter along with other things u can talk about ur gpa increase!

Thank you. Did it take a while for you to get a receipt email? I sent my letter a while ago and I fear that it went to their spam folder.

It took over a week for my update letter to get confirmation that it was received and placed in my file. I did mine back in December
 
Anyone know if you need to have CASPER in before they consider you for an interview?
 
If someone gets accepted at Howard, is the whole acceptance process through email or do you go through AMCAS for accepting the offer of admissions
 
Complete 09/28, reviewed email: 10/27, II received 12/07, Interview day: 01/11. Hoping I hear back soon.
 
does anyone know if we are supposed to hear back on the same day for decisions or does it vary
 
Has anyone been able to get in touch with the admissions committee regarding updates?
