Hey everyone,
I'm starting to overthink my chances of getting in lol but does anyone know if Carver views reapplicants favorably? I talked to them during my last app cycle, got feedback on my app and basically addressed what they asked me to. But I was looking at last year's thread and I feel demotivated lol
I’ve heard that they do. This is my third time interviewing with them so fingers crossed.

Oh my, that's less than 2 weeks away. I don't know if I'm going to be able to open that email when the time comes.
Just so that you're aware, it will be an email that tells you that they posted their decision in your secondary application portal and you have to go receive it there.

Source: me, a re-applicant to Iowa 😭

I was waitlisted by all of the other schools i applied to this cycle. i'm honestly just praying that I have some resemblence of finger nails by the end of this cycle
Waitlists suck!! This is my third cycle and I’ve done the waitlist rodeo at a couple schools before. But for some reason Iowa was my only interview this time around. Praying for good news for us all!

Do you guys think we’ll know next week? I just want to know at this point…all my other interviews turned into WLs 🥺 I hate the wait I can’t even focus on anything else other than my email these days…

Yeah, what caffeine said sorry! I am waitlisted for the other school I interviewed at. Just stressing that we don't have any acceptances to other schools haha

So, I'm an OOS prospective student and I recently received my financial aid packet and from what I've seen, I've received absolutely no scholarship/grants. Are scholarships/grants given out at a different date from the loans? Spending 85k per year to attend Iowa is not within the realm of possibility for me, so I'm really bummed given that Iowa is such a great school.

Hi friend, also OOS, there are Dean's merit scholarships that are distributed separately from the financial aid awards. I received mine about 2 weeks after acceptance. I also received a little bit of need-based aid from the school, but most were in the form of loans. Hoping for the best for you!

I have been waiting since the first available interview date.......................................................................................

and

I've been waitlisted at 2/5 of the MD schools I interviewed at

waiting decisions for 3...

y'all I'm TIRED
My partner was offered a full time job with 50% higher pay and can’t accept it until I find out about where I’m going to med school. The stress is unreal. Fingers crossed we both find out soon. 🥲

Yikes. I’ve been waiting since the first few interview dates also

I’m so anxious, especially knowing that they likely already made their decision on my app.

I wish we had a better feel as to how many seats are still open and how many they plan to accept right away from the final pool. But I guess we will find out one way or another soon…. 😬

I also have a lot riding on if I get accepted to Iowa that affects my partner and me. Which isn’t helping the stress lol

I’ve been waiting since the second interview date so I’m in the same boat 😭 Iowa was my only interview too so I have a feeling what the decision will be……I just want to know for sure. It’s been a LONG 25 weeks of waiting and hearing nothing

Right, I also feel like I know what the decision is going to be, I just don't want to speak it into existence lol.... this is stressful. It sucks. No love from my alma mater

Same here! Seems like it was another lifetime ago. All this to-do about interviewing early....
