OK, awesome! I interviewed at Hershey and am waiting to hear back. Should I still email Kristen?
 
I would only reach out to Kristen after you’ve heard back. In order to be considered for the UP program, you have to have been accepted to PSCOM first.

You can’t apply to UP if you’ve been rejected from PSCOM. While we are two separate campuses, we’re still the same school. #WEARE
 
Are interviews 30 min each or longer? Noticed there is quite a large time gap on my portal (also any last minute tips or advice is much appreciated!!)

there was a 10 min timer that started counting down around the 30 min mark so u only get about 40 min max but the interviewers were aware of the time as well...other than that, the interviews were very casual/conversational, they both had specific questions prepared about my app and then gave me time to ask them questions...good luck!

I really want to but I’m worried it’ll seem like I’m impatient 😅 I feel like not hearing back for as long as I have is a sign that I’ve been rejected and they’re waiting to let me know when they send their final pool of rejections. I’m just curious if anyone else is in the same boat with not hearing a single thing

we might hear back this week? the late nov have been accepted, not sure about late dec, jan interviews.

At this pt it could be based on recent II cancellations. I interviewed 2/20 and one of the interviewers said that there are two more interview days left (?). He may have been referring to the days left for him to interview or for the school overall but regardless it is down to a few spots left I imagine.

+1 - idk if they go in order but it seems like some Dec interviews haven't heard back, so if they're moving chronologically, we may be in for the long haul

I heard back after 7 weeks. Interviewed in mid-October, accepted early December
 
Did anyone else end up getting the second look email?
 
I have been messaging with an anonymous SDNer and they wanted me to report that they have been accepted to the UP campus! Decisions are coming out (screaming internally)

In my interview, Dr. Wong said that they make about 18-20 offers to met their 12 student cap. Just because we didn’t hear the first day doesn’t mean we are out of the running.

I just hope that if they don’t like me, they send me a rejection so I can start planning/imagining my life at my number 2

I also have not heard anything but I was complete later on 10/29 since I added Penn State later on. I saw on their website that they interview through March and three days per week so maybe some hope left? I also noticed on last year's thread they sent a big R wave on April 11 so I am personally not too hopeful at this point. Good luck to you!
 
Literally created an SDN account to check if they had started giving out acceptances and boy was I sad when I saw that people who interviewed after were getting accepted. Just stay strong and have faith guys 🙂
 
also post-interview hold, thought my conversations went well! (my interviewer was even late and it cut time down 😐)
 
looks like they put a lot of us on hold 🙁 and are still interviewing folks...i guess the next time we will hear could be april?
