Just letting you all know that many folks didn't receive a decision until way later (like February and on) even though they interviewed in September/October. I interviewed September, didn't get WL decision until April! Got the A 5/2 🙂 Classmate interviewed Sept, A in March. So it can be a long waiting game and does not indicate anything bad if you don't hear this year.

Do you know how we can do application update? Do I just upload the upload letter? or do I have to email them that I uploaded the letter as well

During the AAMC virtual fair, the admissions representative mentioned that pre-II, updates are taken into account. You can just upload them to the portal. Post-II, he said they close your application and it does not matter if you submit an update or not. He said they give you the opportunity to upload 5 updates throughout the cycle, and he recommended taking advantage of those 5 opportunities pre-interview, within reason of course.
 
Based on the amazing @lalala_the_moon_light's insights and the comments of so many applicants on here im starting to think that no one received an acceptance yet and that the two people who said they received an acceptance either have extremely unique situations (likely but rare) or they lyin'
 
On the other hand; this system sounds intimidating

I think some students withdraw their app or chose to go to another school, and they don't want to over enroll students, so they do it this way
 
hopefully this week more decisions will be released since the last A’s came two weeks ago, last yr it looks like ucla released some every other week-ish 🤞
 
I'm an OOS URM and I'm wondering if it still might be possible to get an interview. I submitted my secondary 7/13 but didn't get my Preview results until 10/25 (I got a 7, 93rd percentile). I also interviewed for UCLA Drew and am not sure if I could still interview for the DGSOM Traditional MD track. @lalala_the_moon_light do you have any insight? 💖

Yeah, did you go to their booth at the AAMC fair? Seems like one of those recruitment information sessions for pre-applicants.

Yeah I mean I opened the booth but I didn’t go into the zoom link.
 
when did everyone hear back from the PRIME program? before or after receiving a decision from the UCLA traditional MD program?

PRIME's website FAQs says they'll send out II in early November. Last year they ended up sending them out later than they advertised, so they might do that this year too. So I don't think anyone heard back from PRIME yet
 
Extremely unexpected OOS interview today! With Keck and Stanford pre-II Rs this week, I was convinced California was rejecting me like a bad burrito haha. Very thankful for this opportunity 🙂

I was complete in late August, and the interview date available to me was in early December. I'll have my fingers crossed that more UCLA interviews come for all of you soon!
 
Does anyone who has interviewed so far know where we can see our interviewers names? I just see the time for tomorrow. Thanks!
 
Is the interview hosted through Zoom or another platform? Did anyone use an external monitor/webcam and did it work well if it was not through Zoom?
