I had the white lady who’s a psychiatrist and she was very shy so I lowkey felt like I was leading at the end because I asked a lot about her. Don’t know if you had her but hope this makes you feel better

I emailed the med school a week ago about not receiving a secondary (I received the confirmation email from CDU on July 18th acknowledging the receipt of my primary application), but I haven't heard back from them....
 
Does anyone know if they take update letters? Also, will attending events like the open house have an impact on our admissions decision? (i.e. demonstrated interest etc)

According to their website, they do. "Applicants can send updates (re: citizenship, grades, etc) to [email protected] in pdf format. It will be added to their e-file in WebAdmit." I sent one yesterday and haven't received a response yet.

Closed file, traditional, somewhat conversational but they def had questions they had to get through. I’d say be prepared to talk about aligning with schools mission with concrete examples. In retrospect, I wish I answered every question they asked with their mission in mind if that makes sense. I feel like that’s what they are looking for
 
Hello! Does anyone know whether we will be offered federal loans as a part of the financial aid package? I can't seem to find that information, and what I can find leads me to believe that we won't! I am not super knowledgeable about loans and the thought of funding the next 4 years with private loans seems kinda scary but yolo.

I also got an email that I was invited to interview and to send my availability on 10/29!

I replied the next day and didn’t hear back until the 31st at the end of the day to confirm scheduling 🙂
 
Still no secondary….I’m very confused on their process. Do they screen?
 
Anyone knows how quick they reply to emails?I emailed Dr Loeza a week ago but haven’t got a response .
 
For those who have interviewed, is Kira functionally like Zoom? They don't have much posted about the interview format, but y'all are saying it's just a standard interview. How does Kira change things?

It can malfunction and if you lose interview time after its started (the block is preset by the platform), the interviewer can't just continue the interview past the allotted time. I personally did not have a good experience with it.

Great! I guess my confusion stems from the whole "time blocking" thing. Since the interview is standard, are you kicked out of the room periodically throughout the 25 minutes to read and think about the prompt? Or is it just an open dialog for the full 25 minutes?

It is a traditional interview. Conversational, you stay on the whole time, but they do ask questions which are mostly traditional type questions
 
IS just received II email (Complete 9/19). The email said to schedule within 3 business days, but I was unable to see it till now due to being in a country that restricts what I receive electronically. Its been 8 days since the email was sent but i still responded with my availability. Should it be fine or is there some number I should call?

Crap! Let us know what happens in the end.
 
Just got an email last night that my primary was received and they will send secondaries through January. I saw some of you above were waiting for a secondary. I had already marked this school as an R on my list but now unmarked it. They're just slower.
