What was the available date for you?IS II just now!
12/25 or 1/23 through FebruaryWhat was the available date for you?
IS II just now! LM 69 Complete 7/25
+1 OOS II today, I have to think that the 12/25 date is in error though right? I went with 1/23 under that assumption.12/25 or 1/23 through February
On Christmas?? Bruh12/25 or 1/23 through February
I know we've been discussing how the decision committees don't necessarily meet in the order you interview, but it's such a dramatic contrast if some who interviewed in Sept don't have As yet while others who interviewed a month or two later do. Can I ask pls: was it, like an equivalent amount of people had late As as those who got As right away? Or are we talking like a few that got As later, while the bulk got them got within a month of their interview?I read 22/23 also…very eye opening to say the least, at this point I’d be thrilled to hear back by Feb (im October interview)
What do you mean by this?Anyone else get the email to sign up for small group chats? Sounds interesting
I think its for accepted/WL'd students to meet students/faculty in small groups and learn about the school and ask questionsWhat do you mean by this?
Have people been WL'ed?I think its for accepted/WL'd students to meet students/faculty in small groups and learn about the school and ask questions
Seems like some who have been interviewed have been WLed, others Aed, and some still show "Under Review" in the portal.Have people been WL'ed?
I wouldn't sweat on it to be honest. It says it'll be informal, so don't think there would be any tracking. I also feel like it would be counterintuitive to penalize you for not going, since it's a session for underrepresented folks.Hate to harp on this, I'm just bugging cuz we got an email specifically inviting us to the December 18th Q&A, but do you guys think it will be bad if I don't go to it? For the old Q&A sessions they specifically said they didn't note down anyone's name, but the email doesn't say anything like that this time. Thanks gang!
Took your advice and responded, in case anyone is curious, the next session will be at some point in Feb.I wouldn't sweat on it to be honest. If you're really worried/interested, you could always reply back asking if there's another session later to attend.
I'm confused because I also received this email and I'm very much a ORM (although I do come from a medically underserved area, so there's that).I wouldn't sweat on it to be honest. I think med schools have a broader definition of underrepresented (I'm also orm, but am first gen/low income/lgbtq).I'm confused because I also received this email and I'm very much a ORM (although I do come from a medically underserved area, so there's that).
I interviewed 10/17 and I know there's people from Aug who still haven't gotten news yet so I'm trying not to be too neurotic but :/
did everyone get it? I'm ORM and don't fit any underrepresented categoryI'm confused because I also received this email and I'm very much a ORM (although I do come from a medically underserved area, so there's that).

What time do they usually stop sending them out for the day?My friend got the A today! They are IS and had a late October interview. Wanted to post since it didn't seem like anyone else did today.
somebody plz do 🙏Is anyone going to ask about admissions timeline/process? In the infosession right now
RetweetHave any LEAD@Lahey interviewees heard back recently?
are you gonna turn it down?OOS II just now
I might. Would it lead to another II for someone else?are you gonna turn it down?
I emailed the lady who sent out the invite to the Q&A session last week (Anne Swift) and she replied within an hourDoes anyone know how long admissions takes to get back to emails?
honestly that might be why UMass waited so long to give Toasted an II, so he would turn the interview down if he had acceptances to other programs he would rather go over UMassTB,
With all due respect to you, your decision process, and UMass, I don't see any world in which a non-Massachusetts resident would go to UMass over Hopkins or Vandy with a 75% scholarship.
Give some of us mere mortals a chance at that II LOL.
Tomorrow![]()
they typically send out A's on fridays!! so just wishful thinking that a wave comes today 🙂wait what about it?
Supposedly past timelines seem to indicate that A's are sent out on Fridays, sometimes Mondays and Tuesdays. However, I believe the medical school is closed today (for Christmas Eve) and Monday (Christmas), so not sure whether any A's will be sent out? 🤷🏽♀️wait what about it?
This was a super interesting article. Thanks for sharing. There's been a conversation about this in terms of undergrad admissions for several years: ‘There Was Definitely a Thumb on the Scale to Get Boys’
I don't think schools are intentionally accepting anyone over the other, I think it comes down to stats and number of applicants. For public schools i'd bet that IS vs. OOS is a bigger factor
