I thought interview hold meant you wouldn’t hear back until Feb
I don’t believe so. My friend was placed on an II hold and was notified of their status the day before classes started lmfao

Solid middle-class white girl. Parents were federal law enforcement so not medical, but both have BAs. I actually worked for a division of DGSOM for a few years and was a PI on grants for some projects, but they ended my contract before I even finished collecting data on the research projects so it's not that exciting. No ties to UCSD. I didn't send any updates and I didn't send any thank you notes after interviewing. Both schools seemed like they interpreted them as a hassle. If you're comfortable answering are you ORM or URM? Also did you do anything outside of your primary app and secondary application with either school?
I graduated in December 2021! when did you graduate?Wait I went to UCI too! What year did you graduate?
For those with complete application dates in mid August, do we think we will be hearing back about interviews before Thanksgiving? It seems they send out waves on Fridays per post hx?
I also see this. This might be an issue on the school's end. I don't believe it's been resolved yet.For those with A's, do you see anything under the "Verify Info" in the "Pre-Matriculation" tab? There is an error message that pops up when I click it and I don't see anything to complete under the tab.
So did I, omg! What was your major?I graduated in December 2021! when did you graduate?

I probably got screened out due to my CARS further back.
No idea, overall score is low as well.I thought they screened by the overall score, not by section? And aren’t they stat blind until after interviews?

Nope!Anyone interviewing 11/30 get the info email/zoom link yet?
It's an MMI, who are you writing a thank you letter for?I just realized I forgot to send a ty letter and my interview was two weeks ago... is it too late to send? I had it fully drafted and everything just forgot to upload it :,)
Well said. A thank you letter is not going to do anything. If anything, I feel like most interviewers don't want them. It's an MMI, who are you writing a thank you letter for?
I was under the general impression that you do not send thank you notes for MMI's.
Got a secondary from UC San Francisco the other day, so don't lose hopeIs it too late to receive a secondary from this school?

Were these personalized or did you have mostly the same text for each of these letters? How did you find stuff to talk about in your thank yous given the MMI format?I wrote a letter to every single one of my mmi interviewers here 🤷🏻♀️
Same intro, different body recapping what we talked about that stood out or was interesting, same ending 🙂 I mean we talked for about 8 mins total in each station, there was lots to write about. Ex. I really enjoyed sharing about my journey going through my dog spot having cancer (or "thank you for allowing me to share" as I realize that probably wouldn't be "enjoyable" but you get the point) when discussing how complex end of life topics can be for patients (totally made up lol)Were these personalized or did you have mostly the same text for each of these letters?
