Hey guys, my application was put on hold back in July to wait for my new MCAT score. My score came out on 10/1 and was above their minimum. I have sent them 3 emails about this but I haven't heard anything back. Any advice on what to do?

I would call them if you haven't already. I called them with some questions about one of their electives a few months ago and the woman I spoke with was super helpful.

Ok so one of my friends who’s an M1 at EVMS said an “inside source” told him we’re gonna hear back in November. No specific date tho😔

It's very causal and conversational just make sure you have some good questions to ask at the end! and don't be nervous if they ask you to clarify some points from your answers

I believe in the presentation this morning they said to email all documents (including thank you’s) to the admissions email as a pdf. However, my interviewer actually emailed me himself after our interview and I ended up just thanking him directly because he contacted me first. I think if your interviewer indicated that you can contact them directly, you can. But that’s just my opinion and I’m nobody lol

Are the info sessions for all applicants or just people with interview invites? Super interested in this school but no II yet, just curious if I'm missing something

Apparently the tiers don’t mean much and are solely based on stats, not fit to the school 🤷 So basically anyone can come off the waitlist regardless of tier? Not super sure

Fiddlesticks. Oh well, I'll just learn and move forward I guess. Schools in the commonwealth like me more on paper than they do in person.

According to MSAR, EVMS typically takes in 75/200 of its waitlisted students. I imagine that this is higher with higher tiers, but I couldn't find a figure for it. When did you email them? I sent an email about an hour after getting my WL decision, but still haven't heard anything about what tier I'm in ;-;

I emailed them at 1:17 pm EST and they got back to me at 2:10 pm EST
