Is there a way to view your secondary? For some reason the link I was emailed is now expired and I cant find the saved secondary on my computer.

Question. I have an interview on the 18 of February. But I’m confused on the time we start. I got the pm time which is 12-2pm cst, but on of my zoom links says 10 am cst. Just confused on the times.

Yeah I have the same question the email says 12-2:30, but the link I signed up on said 10-3pm. And the zoom says 930 is when the meeting starts.

It looks like those interviewed either got A or WL, but not rejected. Is this true?

I also heard that they exhausted the WL last cycle, so, if KansasCOM was someone’s only chance, they eventually got it? Does this sound right?

I only got two interviews, from here and Burrell and it’s my second year applying so I’m nervous.

What does the Post-Interview A rate look like? Thank you!!

Can any current students share what it’s like to live in Wichita? This school is my only A so far and I’ve never set foot in the Midwest. Kind of terrified since Wichita seems like it’s in the middle of nowhere and has no BIPOC to speak of. Even though the school seems somewhat diverse, I feel like Wichita as a whole isn’t. I hope I’m wrong.

I just spoke with the Assistant Director of Admissions about this, she was so lovely and said it is very diverse, even surprisingly so (with many BIPOC / LGBT identifying people etc).

As everyone stated 4/6 weeks. I got an email back after thanking them. Hope that’s a good sign.

Got an interview coming up. I’ve heard there are some ethical questions which come up in the interview. Is anyone able to share a bit more about what sorts of questions those were? Does anyone have any additional advice for the interview or can share their personal experiences? I’m assuming I’m just interviewing for a waitlist spot at this point, because if they take four to six weeks like everyone’s saying I won’t hear back until April.

how did you all get the interview invite? i got an email this morning with a "link" to sign up for the interview. no prior communication before this or a formal invite. registered for end of march.. is that late?

As a lifetime Wichitan, I understand your fear about this city. When you zoom out on a map it really does look like it's in the middle of nowhere, but rest assured it is not the stereotypical Midwest town. The population is nearly 400,000 and growing, and a good 30% of that is Hispanic alone. Wichita also has large Vietnamese and Black groups. Along with KansasCOM, we are also home to Wichita State University which is largely liberal and hugely diverse, and is really proud of it. Wichita is also home to the ICT airport which flies to all major airports as far as I'm aware, so if you want to visit family far away you won't need to drive hours to the nearest major airport. I really love it here, I think it is big enough but not too big, and I would really like to continue living here. Hope this helps 😄

Thank you so much for this! Are you liking your experience at KansasCOM so far (if you attend)?

Not a student, but have had opportunities to interact with the facility/students a few times as well as tour the facility. They seem to foster an inclusive environment and provide a lot of resources to get help/help out yourself. From what I've seen, it's pretty impressive for a new school and they seem to care.

Do not attend Kansas com multiple Reddit post have been taken down about this school they have a facade about caring for students so far 20 plus kids have been dismissed from the 2028 class with more to come. If you have any other acceptances do not choose to come here. The school is operating like the carribean.
