I'm not sure, I was speaking mainly about WL movement, since last year people reported getting off this upcoming week starting April 21st. Wishing everyone the best man, it's a torturous process for sure
Fair enough, I’m sick of waiting esp since RFU starts earlier than most schools I think

Those who got Aid package was this mentioned?
Not clear if the jump start will not fall into this category..

Recent Updates: Federal Loan Changes Beginning in 2026–27

Phase-Out of Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loans

Effective July 1, 2026, Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loans will no longer be available to newly enrolling graduate or professional students.

Students who are currently enrolled in a program of study and have borrowed a Grad PLUS Loan prior to that date may continue to access this loan type for up to three additional years or until completion of their current program, whichever occurs first.

This continuation applies only to the student’s existing program of study. Students who begin a new program on or after July 1, 2026, will not be eligible for Graduate PLUS Loans for that new program.

Revised Federal Loan Limits for Graduate Students

Beginning July 1, 2026, new federal borrowing limits will apply:

Students enrolled in professional degree programs (such as medicine, law, or other licensure-based fields) may borrow up to $50,000 annually, with a $200,000 aggregate limit in Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loans.

Students enrolled in other graduate programs may borrow up to $20,500 per year, with a $100,000 lifetime limit in Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loans.

I’m writing a LOI for RFU, the admissions people told me to not add updates because they do not accept them but my friend said that it’s just cap and I should add some. What to do!

I sent a letter of interest, they capped. I reached out to Latrice for clarification and she told me to send it directly to her and I did. So they do accept them, I would just reach out first fr for clarification, but it is misleading of them to say they don’t on the alternate list form.

Did anyone else have a student ambassador reach out to them? I thought they weren’t matching people anymore (from the Dec email) Someone reached out to me yesterday. I’m on the AL.
