I don't think so. We're discussing decisions players have made in this exact game and analyzing it against their meta. I don't see why it would be angle shooting.

I'm hoping Alley wasn't MIA so FTF chose for her. I guess talking about why it happened doesn't change anything about the game at this point, but ugh, what a strange and unhelpful role

I don't think your discussions with AM in particular are what get you wolf read. It's just the reasoning that you offer for your reads and yeets that make you sound wolfy.

But... Why? I really don't get it. Is there something to the greengrocer that I'm not understanding? Does handing out vegetables actually do anything? Because literally any PR, regardless of affiliation, seems more exciting and useful but maybe I'm just missing a key part of that role.

I might feel okay with a paws yeet but I'm also not sure how I feel about Pippy yet.
 
The things that people are finding pingy about Cray seem NAI for her meta. She's always throwing sus in a million directions and ending up in strange positions where she contradicts herself. I don't feel icky about her otherwise so I don't think my vote will land there today
 
I really don't know how to feel about the Paws/Pippy interactions. Dubz's impression of Pippy is making it even more confusing. I'm inclined to read Paws/Pippy as v/w or maybe even w/w if different factions... Hmmm. Going with what I feel. Maybe Vis and Genny will show up and I'll feel differently.

I'm inclined to read the Paws/Pippy interactions as w/v with Paws being the wolf, or maybe w/w with Paws and Pippy in different factions. I'm kind of siding with Pippy about Paws here. But Dubz is saying she feels like Pippy is getting twisty with words and I'm not sure if I should trust her read given that I am bad at reading Pippy and I assume Dubz is better and also just more experienced and knows Pippy better than I do. Or if maybe Dubz is also wolfy, maybe even with Paws, and shouldn't be trusted with her Pippy read.

Yes, don't use them interchangeably please. They are different incompatible factions in this game. We could have both wolves and mafia (and other scum) that are unaware of each other's presence in this game since they are not in the same factional PM and cannot win with each other.

None of this really matches up with the way I think or play.

The opportunism was jumping on the vote for what you called out. Chaos' claim didn't have a wolfy feel to me.

This is the kinda thing you do that feels stretchy to me.

I don't have issue with Chaos' vote because he kept calling me out for being wolfy in Bioshock, but then also said I did a pretty good job. So I'm not surprised he wants pressure there. Makes sense to me.

I dunno. I don't feel like my wolf style is that buddy buddy or suck up or kiss ass. That feels more like village Cray with DocE in England.

I wasn't, and generally don't, think that many steps as far as votes like you describe. I don't like that it feels like Bob is sheeping your logic, when the claim didn't feel wolfy, your appeal to authority did, and Bob feels sheepy of what I find is wolfy (your post on Chaos). Sheeping wolfy sounding logic or logic I don't agree with isn't a good look for that player being village.

I don't see the sketch you were referring to with paws' reason for her cray quote. Her posts have seemed fine to me. And don't really like what I am currently interpreting as being misleading about the role you declined and how that factored into your conversation with alissa.

it said day / night would be cancelled. It wasn't clear who that would help and the way it was phrased almost sounded like both would happen and then you would effectively be in the same place just the day count would advance so I didn't get the point.

this is interesting to me because when I'm a wolf I will purposely mis-gender a packmate who I haven't played with before to act like I don't know them at all. Now bob has played with cray but he's still new-ish. But just noting this possible deliberate distancing.

What does this even mean? The role is published for all to see and there were multiple pages of discussion about it
 
Also, I want to point out that chaos threw his role reveal out there and then shrugged and commented like "okay guys sus me if you want but I'll die eventually because stats." But maybe he gains something by living a couple days. A night to use an ability, a power role gained, etc.

My bad. 1000 apologies!

I have to constantly swap out he/she for names since I don't know most. The easiest thing would be to call everyone she except for MsP bc he is the only one that is obviously a guy!

It is getting late enough for me and I am not sure how much time I have left on here so I will give my reason. I want to see who jumps on wagons. I like early vote pressure. It seems to get ppl talking and defending and staying active. Plus, I think chaos is begging to get voted by wolves/village. Worst case scenario, we yeet Chaos who is village who is going to die soon anyway. Versus voting a villager who is not going to die soon. Seemed weird reveal (maybe hopeless reveal) and tempting Doctor to reveal. Also there is many neg abilities that do the opposite of what you expect (I could see Doc heal causing death to healer for certain ppl) and could be tempting PR to kill themselves by trying to help. Regardless, it feels off some and the lesser of 2 bad options while applying pressure and seeing who jumps on wagons and possibly gives some info.

Alissa doesn't seem wolfy but we will see. She seems a bit too desperate to not be village. Seems to be openly explaining thought process instead of guarded, but maybe that's how she wolfs.

You sound village to me, but that last sentence feels like a "wolf out," like a hedge that will allow you to switch later.

Wolf is short for werewolf. It's why we say WW and not W for game titles.

Wolves and mafia factional kill nightly until all threats to their faction are gone + they meet parity with village.

Scum is a catchall term for anything non-village.
