Like April, most of AM’s posts have been clarifying and have served to bring the thread back on track and away from unproductive rabbit holes, so I’m not suspicious of her, but this focus on Pippy’s discard really doesn’t fit that pattern to me. I don’t feel that this was something helpful to bring up for wolfhunting, although I kind of understand her reasoning she posted later. It’s probably just because there wasn’t much of anything to talk about at that point. Noting it in case there’s some flip later that makes it worth looking back at.

Okay so one of FTF’s post specifically said the best thing Scum can do is fake claim early, and this is by far the fastest role reveal I’ve ever seen so it’s definitely eye popping.
It’s immediately followed up with PR hunting for a doctor.



So worst case scenario this doesn’t look good.

This game is pretty chaotic so I’m getting my bearings still, but I’m definitely keeping an eye on Chaos.

I do agree with your analysis. I have a hard time believing Pippy would choose vanilla townie over a not-so-awful mafia role. Perhaps she was offered something better and even more sinister? I think it’s very possible for her to pick something 3P over mafia though

Alissa and Pippy came for each other from the very start. I don’t think anyone believes Pippy is in her faction but I’m just including this as a reminder.

It was a valid point. It was pretty striking to me as well that chaos just completely role revealed in like the second game post and his first, and also asked for the doctor to put themselves. However, it’s also easy as scum to call out the sus things that villagers inevitably do. Plus, they could both be scum but one is mafia and one is cult? I think we have 2 scum factions if I understood correctly.

Slight scummy ping for the tone (feels more deliberately measured than I associate with village sunny), and especially the last 2 sentences which feel like it could be overly performative of “no TMI here, no sir, perhaps there is another scum faction but I have no way of knowing”

I mean, I would also like to know both as the player she randomly voted AND as *a* player judging her, but now I’m worried you’re trying to pocket me by defending me...

Because it's a different argument...? She's specifically implying that I'm deliberately twisting your words around, but she also said she didn't read a bunch of things yet. I don't see how that particular argument can be made without context. The whole point is that there is context.

Using these 3 posts as representative of her interaction with Dubz D1. Doesn’t feel scummy to me. Looks like she sincerely was annoyed and suspicious of Dubz throwing shade that she didn’t think Dubz could sincerely believe in the circumstances. This read is taking into context that to me, Pippy’s logic and interpretations as a villager in Apocalypse looked very twisty and like she was deliberately misrepresenting facts to throw shade.

I had a valid reason to be suspicious of that and I explained why. I didn’t immediately try to get Chaos yeeted for it, but it was weird to role reveal that early and it caught my attention and made me nervous.
