Anyone get an II invite? Weren't they supposed to start today?
Any idea up to what date have completed applications been reviewed?Today's not over. ;-)

I would call them. I talked to Bryan Moody from admissions who was really helpful with it and mine became marked as complete as soon as I submitted.I got an email saying that they received my letters on July 15th. It's been about 3 weeks now and they still appear incomplete on my portal. Should this be cause for concern?

A few pages back, @MU COM addressed this. That means your letters are acceptable, but you haven't been assigned a reviewer yet.I never received a complete email. However, when I go under the communications tab on the status page, I see the complete email lol.
Congrats! I'm totally jealous. This school seems ideal. Do you mind sharing when you were complete/received complete email?
I saw your post, opened my email, saw that I had a new message, it has "admissions" in the email address......and it's an email from Rosalind Franklin telling me that my application is incomplete but not mentioning what I'm missing (and they don't have a portal).
Thanks! I was marked complete 7/7 and got the email on 7/29Congrats! I'm totally jealous. This school seems ideal. Do you mind sharing when you were complete/received complete email?
That seems pretty frustrating... I'm sure you're hear back too!I saw your post, opened my email, saw that I had a new message, it has "admissions" in the email address......and it's an email from Rosalind Franklin telling me that my application is incomplete but not mentioning what I'm missing (and they don't have a portal).![]()
That's the same timeline as mine. Congrats for the II 🙂Thanks! I was marked complete 7/7 and got the email on 7/29
MUCOM made it sound like very few people would get invites today. I wouldn't worry about it especially since you were in the later group. More invites will trickle through in the next few weeks.Didn't hear anything back today. Such a bummer, my secondary was marked complete 7/26 and nothing new on communication status since then. I'm an international student, not sure if that plays a factor. Wish that hey told us whether our application was reviewed and if we would receive ii or not.
Anyone know if MU-COM sent rejections for applications they reviewed but didn't give ii? Or do they just hold off rejections till a later date? Not sure if not getting an ii was b/c app wasn't reviewed or b/c it wasn't successful.
There were options. Sept. 11 or 12 and Oct. 2 or 3 with different time slots for each.To those who have received II's, what days are your interviews scheduled for? Did you get a specific day or did you get several options to choose from?
29 mcat, 3.6 cgpa, 3.5 sgpa and no, I'm from the US.That's the same timeline as mine. Congrats for the II 🙂
You mind sharing your stats? Also, are you an international applicant?
lol this is amazing... we have exactly the same stats, except I'm Canadian!29 mcat, 3.6 cgpa, 3.5 sgpa and no, I'm from the US.
Is yesterday the only batch of interviews that will be going out until 8/24?Please allow at least 10 more business days before calling about letters. We are working diligently, with additional staff and overtime, to catch up.
Complete emails will also go out today.
The interview decisions have been released.

I didn't complete the secondary until 7/17, but received complete on 7/29 also. Hoping that they just didn't get to mine yet. Thanks! I was marked complete 7/7 and got the email on 7/29
Interview invites will start in 2 days, but the file review process is taking longer this year. So, they will be slow at first ... we will pick up steam on August 24th when vacations are over.
Admissions
EDIT: Invites start 8/7. From 8/8 to 8/23, few, if any, will be sent due to the director's vacation. We will resume on 8/24.
This is the answer to your questionIs yesterday the only batch of interviews that will be going out until 8/24?
I received a complete email a few days after submitting it.@NextJamesAndrews12 Did you receive a complete email or you just checked the portal? I submitted their secondary the same day as you and haven't received a complete email.
Turned it in on 8/6 and received the complete email 8/7 sorry.@NextJamesAndrews12 I'm confused. Didn't you submit 8/6? You received a complete email over the weekend?
Early june@NextJamesAndrews12 thanks! I guess I will give it a few days and if I'm still not complete, call. When was your primary verified?
it took a while but mine didDid anyone's letters via the AACOMAS system get added to their portal? Still waiting for mine to be uploaded :/
They received mine on the 15th but no update yet, trying to be patient hahait took a while but mine did

Attendance is not mandatory, although highly recommended. As a first year, I would say about 70-80% of us are living at the graduate housing at the Overlook.@MU COM Do all lectures require attendance? Do a lot of students commute from surrounding areas? A Marian student told me he commutes from Carmel, IN but I don't see how this would be feasible! Any replies from Marian students or other applicants would be appreciated also.
What are we to do then? I mean I want to be honest with the school. I don't have any attachments to the state, but would be happy to practice there, for no particular reason other than I'd be practicing medicine....I'm really not sure either. Don't think anyone would say "No, I don't want to practice in Indiana, but please let me into your school." lol
It's my personal opinion that they won't reject you if you're being honest. The people who interview you will probably know what your intents are and will decide accordingly. With that said, I would withhold judgement on where you will actually end up practicing. I had no idea on what living in Indy was like until I moved here. It has been a great experience so far and as of right now, I can see myself staying and practicing here. Always keep an open mind as you are preparing to change your life completely. What are we to do then? I mean I want to be honest with the school. Is that auto rejection?
Perhaps the rest of the employees are doing what I do when my boss is gone, sitting around playing angry birds and just generally not doing a damn thing. But MUCOMs posts have always been fairly sporadic. I'm sure they are working on other stuff. So, anybody else notice that the school stopped updating the forum when the director went on vacation. Is that who were talking to in here? Food for thought..
You make a strong point. I'm actually very impressed and appreciative of their participation here at all.
