I got the first e-mail exactly around 1:00pm, and then I got a second e-mail with the correct entering year and orientation dates around 2:45.

Good Luck

now that i've gotten in, i feel more comfortable saying this:

who else on the jan 9th interview date thought our tour guides were sexy??

Would you mind sharing what time your email was sent? So that, perhaps, I can get my heart to stop beating so quickly.
The original message stated:

It is a pleasure to inform you that you have been accepted into the Freshman class at the University of Toledo College of Medicine which will begin in August 2012. Mandatory orientation will be held the week of August 6th. You will receive additional information by regular mail and also an email from Certiphi Screening, Inc. regarding a background check.

Congratulations on your acceptance! We look forward to having you here and should you have any questions do not hesitate to contact the admissions office.

Sincerely,

James Kleshinski, M.D.
Associate Dean for Admissions

They fixed this with a new email though!

Wow, no email yet here....nothing worse than a cliffhanger. I thought my interviews went exceptionally, exceptionally well and I have great stats:

3.96 GPA and 31 ACT
club leadership
strong LORs

If you guys wouldn't mind sharing, what were your statistics?

3.97GPA 3.99sGPA
31 MCAT and 27 ACT
Lots of Volunteer and Tutoring
Toledo Native

Im sure you'll get in, with stats like those, they'd be crazy to pass you up

Thanks for the encouragement! My interviews were AWESOME, both of them. I walked out truly feeling like things went as well as they possibly could. I have interviewed for other programs (research, etc.) and this time things just really clicked.

I have read on the regular applicant forum that some people never even got an acceptance email, only to find an acceptance letter in their mailbox a few days later...so for anyone out there that didn't get an email yet: :xf:

looks like this guy is taking the MCAT... got my letter today and I didn't get in. Congrats to all of you that did though!

I got in on Feb 22, any word on what the summer program is like? Are the classes structured similarly to the style of med school?
