Let's check-in with our prez and see what's going on at his Southern Palace. He has been awfully silent and doesn't have all the energy and pep we are used to seeing from indefatigable leader. Still, he seems to be a man on a mission. He has donned his body armor. He has cleaned his muzzle, loaded it with gunpowder and shot, and he has been shore to take extra ammunition with him. He gives the missus a kiss at the door and slowly walks down the street onto his destination.

But where could he be going? He takes one heavy step after another, he rubs his eyes, he urges himself forward. What amazing will he has. He is looking at the houses as he passes them, seeming to be looking for one in particular. He passes one stunning yard that looks like it was lifted from a Safari movie, and realizes he is on the wrong side of the street. He starts crossing the street without looking where he is going and passes out right in the middle of the street. Soon there are cars lined up on both sides, honking and yelling at him, but he is fast asleep in the middle of the street. Determination and grit can only take you too far. His destination is never reached.

During all this commotion, Tiger Willow steps out of her house which is literally 2 doors down from the nap spot. She has been glowing all day, a little extra spring in her step. You see, there is always a little bump up in energy when you are carrying the son of an immortal in your belly. She knows it already, just knows it, and she is sure this is going to be a difference maker in the fight against evil.

As she is already out, she decides to take a walk by safari-house. It is always beautiful to see, she passes the prez lying fast asleep in the street and walks up to the house, and perhaps a little distracted by the commotion outside doesn't notice the cobra snake, that she steps on. It immediately rises, sees her as a threat and bites her own the leg.

TW knows immediately that a cruel twist has undone her. She looks around for help, she could be saved, but everyone is too busy yelling at their president to stop blocking traffic. With no one around, TigerWillow can only quote Cleopatra who chose to die at the venom of the asp:

With thy sharp teeth this knot intrinsicate
Of life at once untie: poor venomous fool
Be angry, and dispatch. (Cleopatra, Act V, Scene II)

Alas, we have seen the end of Tiger Willow, aka Harry Houdini, escape artist, and concubine and baby-mama of the immortal Zeus.

LIS wakes up shortly thereafter, sees Tiger Willow dead, smiles, and returns home.

In transportation news, sooprnova flies in style to Africa. The customs officials hold her extra long at the airport as they are starting to get suspicious of these now regular visits from all around the world of the G-V. They find nothing suspicious enough to hold her, and she is free to move in with the other ex-pats!

It is Day 11. Lets try lynch vote by 4:30pm EST. Hopefully there will be more people around today.

Hey all. I was silenced.

Couple things to clarify: Katie's move on AKD was at my behest. I sent a prayer to Nutmeg that he would communicate with her and tell her to quit messing around and lynch the person we had talked about as a conversion likelihood. For once, Nutmeg answered my prayer. And the wrong person ended up dead. My fault, not Katie's.

I have no idea what the hell happened with TW with that snake. SOV's reference to me smiling at seeing TW dead was because that's where I was headed with the musket and armor. I'm not sure what all that falling asleep in the middle of the road was - embellishment, I suspect.

Doesn't matter much, since it appears killing TW also would have been a bum move. I'm on a great streak at the moment.

But, I'm just going to continue down the list of people DVMDream and I had articulated at one point or another in our PMs.

Oh, and since I confessed last night, the Crime blog I had told me that there are 3 wolves left in Africa. I then lost the item. I doubt this info is right since it doesn't seem possible/its way too many wolves for a game. So, once again we have a broken item... :(

Your fearless leader has not turned into Rick Santorum. If that happens, I will personally shoot myself.

Dunno if I've been investigated recently, but I'm not all that sure we have the investigatory capability to find conversions anyway. So far all we've been getting back is their basic roles from the beginning. Assuming our investigatory person is sending out correct info, anyway.

Yeah, thinking that's highly unlikely. Unless the presence of evil in the form of WTF (if that's actually her role...) messes with the results somehow.

At least it should be easy enough to pass it to soopr and see if our bro Tommy knows what to do with it, yeah?

Interesting facts about Houdini:

He died bc some student punched him in the gut when he wasn't prepared and it cause appendicitis. Hence why technically I should have died from that sheepdog emoticon of my fight with devyn!!!!

And the movie I watched two weeks ago was Fairy Tale, which had Houdini in it trying to disprove fairies!! Apparently he and sir arthur conon Doyle were having a feud about it.

So wait, if Cleopatra was killed by an asp, I doubt that was the doing of Rick Santorum. The asp is not a native species to PA and if that slimeball Santorum was trying to kill her he probably would have just accused her of planning to have an abortion and had her stoned to death or something.

So does that mean the wolves didn't kill last night? Or is there another one that can plant an asp somehow? Or did WTF do that?

I wish I could pass it on to be fixed but I apparently got careless and lost the item.
 
I'm not buying the crime blog thing. It just doesn't add up for me. So either zany is lying, or someone's passing around a bogus item. I feel like the first is more plausible than the second. I'm about to go into media blackout for a few hours, so I'll go ahead and lead the charge.

To me it just seems funny that it popped up out of the blue so late in the game. Then again, I haven't been privy to whatever clandestine African PM's have been going around, so maybe people who haven't been stranded in Europe for what feels like months have known about it.

I don't have a more compelling reason to suspect anyone else.

I'm also curious to see what would happen if we tried to lynch WTF...she might not die, but we might get some good info.
