I interviewed in mid Jan. and just got an email saying that I was on the "alternate list." I was wondering how many people get off that list and what my chances are at this point.
I interviewed on the 13th and just found out this morning via e-mail that I have been alternate listed...
Interesting, but I look forward to seeing it play out! So 5 weeks and 3 days to hear back post interview... Good luck!!

Sorry to hear that DrJD. Good luck! I remember some SDN people did get off the alternate list last year, unfortunately, I was not one of them ...
I got accepted today! I can't believe it, its really going to happen. So greatful to SLU, for the acceptance. Its been two years and 39 apps. I feel for people still waiting though, keep working at it!
Congrats! When did you interview?
I was the Canadian guy at the interview. Thanks! Yeah, I was that 1/12 too. I remeber Dean Wilmore talking about his golf tournament. Don't remember who gave the tour, though ... Hope you hear soon.

Just got my acceptance today! Interviewed 1/13/ Good luck everyone!🙂
Congrats Egorr11!!!
I interviewed 1/13 also, and still no news. I think I'll call Monday if I don't hear back by then...
Typical Premed, have you heard from slu yet? You interviewed on 1/12, right?
I did interview on 1/12 and still no news. I spoke to them earlier this week and they said they were a bit behind.
I had a regional interview on the 15th of January and just got the alternate list email
Does anyone know is SLU actually rejects post-interview...or is everyone placed on the list?
Hey everybody,
I received an interview invite today and signed up for one on 3/31 (earliest date). I assume this will be for a waitlist spot, but I figure why not... St. Louis is a great city and it's w/in driving distance. How has SLU been in the past in terms of accepting late interviewees? Lots of waitlist movement?.. or not so much. Thanks!
Any action out there? Anyone receiving post-interview decisions?? I'm thinking of calling soon.....

Does anyone who has interviewed already at SLU have any advice for interview day? Just scheduled one for April. Is it a laid back interview?
Thanks for help 🙂
interviewed 2/10, got waitlisted today!
hey rebs28, just wondering, when was your interview at SLU? I had mine on 2/10 but haven't heard back yet..
I had mine on 1/13 and haven't heard back yet. Not good, I'm thinking...
Just called and was told I'd be notified by e-mail when they make a decision...
She said it normally takes 6-8 weeks, but I'm at the 8 week mark. *sigh. Please SLU, show me some love.

I interviewed 1/15. I emailed the admissions office and they replied that "no decision has been made as of yet, but as soon as anything has been decided, you will be notified by email. Thank you for your patience."
Also, does anyone know the admissions office phone number? I couldn't find it on the website (I'm sure they do that purposefully)....

Hii moro85, I had a regional interview with Dr. Willmore a couple weeks ago. I got asked for one memorable experience for pretty much all of my extra-curriculars. I also got asked about my research pretty in-depth. I mean, it was pretty standard. Nothing too surprising. Hope that helps you!
...i interviewed 3/4, and am not looking forward to this crazy long wait to hear back! 🙁
how does the regional interview work? Does that mean you can interview somewhere outside st louis?
Thanks for the number, Rebs. And yes owls are awesome.
Regarding regional interviews: I bet they just offered people the option if they happened to live close to where a regional interview was being held. When I logged in to schedule my interview, I was able to choose St. Louis or San Francisco and that's it. It looked like there were two days of interviews in SF and maybe ~15 people/day. I definitely missed out on getting a feel for the campus, faculty, students, etc. because I interviewed in SF, though. Something to think about but I bet they're finished with regional interviews at this point.
interesting, i only had the option to choose for the regional slots in LA when i was invited. thanks for letting us know, though. 🙂
