I had a great interview yesterday (2/23), and then at the very end, after the interviewing doc typed my answers to the required questions into the computer, he asked about my school (which specifically accepts young students.) I assumed he knew that I was young from reading my application, but apparently, he didn't.
When he found out, he said that he was almost sure the school would want me to take another year or two, and proceeded to strongly discourage me from attending any medical schools I might be accepted at.
He said he wouldn't change anything he'd written, but I don't know if the interviewer has much say past that.
I'm not sure why they would have bothered to interview me if they are only planning to tell me that I am too young and should try again later. I hope this doesn't affect my chances, but I'm worried it will.
