Anyone else going on 9/10?
Do you have to wait for an email in order to check your status at WF? If not, where do you get the login information (i.e. EmplID and application number)? Thanks!
a long, long time.
i'm finally complete today!!! 😀
haha i just checked...it took 14 days.Same here, jgbeezie. I figured I was complete like 5 days ago... but just got confirmation today.
I got it the same day! let's see what happensI just got the "you are complete" email today. How long does it usually take Wake to give you an interview or reject you, or does this vary?

can someome please explain what
"All materials necessary to complete your secondary application have been received. Once recommendation letters are received and entered in, you will be sent an e-mail notification that your application file is complete. If your recommendation letters have already been sent to us, please allow 2-3 weeks from when we receive your Signature page and fee for processing of the letters."
......so I am complete or not. wtf
So I got my interview invite today, guys. Anyone interviewing on October 3rd? Either way, good luck to all you guys applying.
I got the same email today, so I am hoping it is standard. A couple of times I have had to try the login more than once before it works, I think other people have had the same problem.
It is standard, it means you are being screened.
Anyone have an answer regarding the "application complete" status w/ no interview invite=PI hold?

How long from when you got the "complete" email did you get your interview invite?
Thanks and good luck!
Let's see..I got the office will contact you when further information is required on primary on July 7th, got the secondary on July 11th, got the 'complete' email on July 24th, got the invite August 20th.
So, it took quite a bit, although I was one of those early early applicants..for a while there I thought they'd just rejected me.
Yes, it means you passed their initial screen.
Congrats 🙂
I'm not sure what PI hold means but I am thinking that they might currently be processing the bulk of this years applications. This might be why they have stopped telling applicants to expect their AMCAS to be reviewed within two weeks.
Its just a thought, I'm not basing it on anything. It might be worth a phone a call.
Sorry, PI=pre-interview, so a PI hold means they didnt select for interview/didnt reject either.
While that is a good theory, I had the 1-2 week message until todya that said they were "reviewing" my application, now it just says it is "complete" with no mention of review, so I am unsure as to how I should interpret this.
Have any of you guys gotten the status message
"You will be receiving notification of your application status by e-mail." ?
That's all it says..Last week it said that 1-2 week message thing, and now just this...
oh didn't give enough info sorry..
I'm still waiting for the secondary.
AMCAS was verified in the beginning of July but I didn't take the MCAT til 7/8. Scores came in a few weeks ago
🙁
That's what I thought, but I was hoping maybe I was just being too pessimistic..
with 3.55 at an Ivy and a 35 MCAT...no secondary??? 🙁
How many people who get secondary's get an interview at Wake?
According to some data I picked up around here, 500 interview and 120 are accepted.

hey,
Good luck to those who are being interviewed and/or waiting for updates...if you have any questions or need advice just let me know!
It truly is a wonderful school and I am very happy here as a student!!
Their interview style is very unique...so make sure you read the interview feedback section..
hi, thanks. Yeah I got an interview and I am soo excited. It is one of the schools I really want to get into. Do you have any tips for the interviews. And where is this feedback section?
thank you,
from: hopefully future accepted student
They interviewed 600 last year and are planning on interviewing the same amount this year. I believe they accepted somewhere around 200 (maybe a few more) of the people they interviewed, obviously some off the wait list.
As far as secondaries go, I have no idea how many they screen out to begin with. Even if they screened half pre-secondary, that is still 3750 applicants competing for 600 interviews competing for about 200 acceptances.
They notify you very quickly of your status after you interview (accepted or waitlisted). Which I thought was great.
Just wondering, exactly how quick of a turn around was it for accepted or waitlisted after the interview? Thanks!
