The thing about the medical school process is that the schools accept more people than the number of seats available. For example, if a school has 100 seats, they might accept 120 students. The reason is bcuz they know many students with double acceptances will drop them for their #1 school and their home school.
In late March and April (and even into May for some schools), they require the applicants with double acceptances to make a final decision. They do not offer anymore acceptances until the number of students is lower than the number of seats. That's when they start going into the waitlist. That's why some schools might take up to 10-20 people off the waitlist sometimes, especially the expensive, non-ivy league schools.
And very rarely, the number of students do not go lower than the number of seats. That's how Director of Admissions lose their jobs..
So to answer your question, at this point, they probably will not accept any more people until the number of students is lower than the number of seats. It could be tomorrow, but most likely it will on the deadline that the school gives for everybody to make a final decision.
