Hey everyone. I have a question and was looking for some opinions as to what course of action I should take. I'll start by saying that I know HU started interviewing later than most schools and also ends interviewing later as well, so perhaps it is too early for me to grow concerned. However, there was a big mishap with my application here last year and as a re-applicant, to be perfectly honest, I was expecting a quick turnaround this year from what Ms. Walk said back in the spring. Yet, I never received any sort of rejection notification from last cycle and have heard nothing other than that they have received my secondary for this app cycle...so I have my doubts.
I know that their admissions office is short-staffed, so I would hate to call them unnecessarily (I hate feeling like I'm imposing on someone's valuable time). But, after the headache of last year, I want to make sure that everything with my file is ok and that nothing has been misplaced or anything. (quietly, I really want to know what's the hold up with my interview invite, lol, but I'm not that bold) Do you all think it would be appropriate to call? Or should I wait a few more months? Also, what would I even say? I feel like calling admissions offices might lead to awkward conversation. Thoughts? Opinions?
