They said to respond within a day or two, I think.
Yes, but I couldn't make it to the days they gave me a choice of. I ended up scheduling today. I guess it's only two business days after I got the offer, but 5 days real time. They said to respond within a day or two, I think.

could be in the Playboy mansion... or on the International Space Station... or in the Playboy mansion within the International Space Station... there's always a better location.
btw, Steve Yzerman, best captain ever... GO WINGS!
Just FYI in case any of you were wondering, I'm an M1 right now at NW and we have a handful of African American students in our class--I'd estimate 5 or so.
so i submitted finally yesterday, got a complete email today. I LOVE this school! it seems like they have everything together and really care about the whole admissions process.
I didn't know they sent out complete emails. I don't have an email from them but my status online turned to complete and under review pretty within hours of my submission at the end of July. Did everyone here get complete emails also?
i just got an email saying my app and fee were received. as long as you're complete on the status page, you're fine.
What does a complete page look like?
My status is "Online Payment Receipt" and it tells me that they got my $$ and gave me a transaction #. This is not the complete page I assume?
It should change to complete pretty soon, just takes a little while.

Does anyone know if Northwestern wants a photo on interview day?

How long does it take people to get complete status update? Previous posts show that it is a short time, but I've been waiting over 2 weeks...has it slowed down or should I e-mail to check?
Thanks! 🙂
You should email & check. they are pretty quick about it.
Has anyone interviewed here yet? How were the individual vs panel interviews?
Woot! Interview. Complete 8/28--exactly a month ago. The earliest interview day available for me was Oct 14th (I didn't take that date).

Congrats on the interview! Man up and miss some class. If you like the school enough, you'll miss class for it. This is the rest of your life we're talking about, and if (none of us are sure exactly how big this if is) there's a difference between Oct and Dec, you don't want it determining the med school you go to.hey, so I got an invite today and I'm having some trouble fitting it into my schedule (due to other interviews and midterms and stuff). M, Th, and F tend to be the best days for me, but I can't make it to any of the M/Th/F dates that are offered... it really seems like I'm going to end up scheduling on 12/2 or 12/16. How bad would it be to be scheduling for so late? I mean, some of the available dates are in Oct! but I really can't make it till Dec unless I really cram my schedule. I've heard that NW accepts >50% of their interviewees, so how critical is it to interview here this early? finally, my final exams start on 12/7, so if I did my interview on the 12/16 date (versus the 12/2 date), it would allow me to really concentrate on the interivew and avoid missing school and stuff. But if this is going make a huge difference then i'll just schedule for 12/2... sorry for all the questions, I'm just confused as to how critical it is to have an early interview, and for NW especially. Thx!

Take the weekend to travel up there. Interview on Monday. Get back for class on Tuesday. Tell your profs what you're doing, if attendance is required, and just do it. You'll make up for it somehow.
If the school is like #15 on your list, and you really don't care about getting in, wait til later. Maybe you can get an acceptance before you go, then you don't even have to go to the interview.
woohoo interview invite. took about 2 weeks and 4 days from being complete (I know sometimes SDNers like timeline specifics 😀). Fantastic school, never been to Chicago, so looking forward to it.
Also, stupid question, does know anyone know if there is a forum/database/thread of previous interview questions that I could check out? I would like to get a handle on the flavor of questions I may expect. Thanks in advance and good luck to you all!
I've never been rushed with 6:45/7:00. May spend a little extra time at the airport if you get out early, but you'll be ok definitely. Also, the bigger the airport, the more likely that standby is an option so if you get there a ton earlier, you have a chance at leaving early anyways.Does anyone know how early we should book our flights home on interview day? It seems like it takes a while to get to the airport, and it's not so clear when exactly the day will end.
Could someone possibly link the place you can check your application status just to make sure it's complete? I can't find it on the website.
