So has anyone who interviewed on the week of 12/6/10 receive a decision yet?

I submitted my FAFSA, even without acceptances yet. You can always tweak it later. The most important thing is that the numbers (like gross income) are correct, so you receive the maximum aid.

Did you get a presentation from Tony, the financial aid guy on your interview day? He was pretty awesome, almost made this school seem not as expensive as it really is.

I was accepted in December and submitted my FAFSA in mid-Feb. Haven't heard anything from the school since the initial acceptance packet. I've also been wondering when we will hear about fin aid and some more follow up info (like when is second look, if they have one?)...

To be clear, that's with living expenses. Tuition is closer to $40,000. That's pretty normal for private schools but the real killer is how expensive it is to live in Westchester.

Hey guys, so apparently admissions told us that decisions take 8-10 weeks post interview, but I've been noticing that those waitlisted typically find out right when the 8-week mark hits, and those accepted have had to wait the entire ten weeks...has anyone else noticed this? has anyone gotten accepted after just 8 weeks? I've haven't heard from them for over nine weeks...praying this is a good sign for some nymc love next week...

there must have been a problem with your email then because they send out acceptances via email. Is it possible it was placed into junk mail or something? Either way congrats...and for anyone who is interested here is the match list. The 4th years matched very well this year!

not that it is any indication of anything significant but 1/4 of the class matched into ROAD specialties. Pretty impressive (if this is something you're interested in). I personally have no interest in any of those, I think I'm heading into the IM route but we'll see.

Longshanks-thanks for the good luck wishes I'm actually a 2nd yr. Boards coming up in roughly 3 months. Cant wait for it all to be over! At least the light at the end of the tunnel (the light being 3rd yr lol) is now visible.

Nope...wasn't me. I was actually interested in being a tour guide but I was too lazy and never got around to it. I'm sure I knew who it was though. The students here tend to be very down to earth nice people, at least in my experience.

Congrats! Would you mind sharing the date on which you interviewed? I'm just curious because I interviewed on 1/31. Looking at the acceptances so far, no one has been accepted who interviewed beyond that date, so I am hoping I will still be hearing good news soon!
