I submitted by secondary on 6/7 and I'm still pending. Do you think I should call? I've been hesitating so that I don't seem pushy, but 3 months is long enough right?

The questions really weren't that bad. The ones I got did make me think though. I interviewed with Filo and he asked things like describe 3 issues in healthcare, describe 3 current social issues. Things like that. And we just talked about my application a bunch.

I would call just to make sure they have all the documents they need. I'm more or less in the same boat and I've called and got essentially no useful information except for someone telling me I was in the queue. I dunno what the deal is with A&M - it seems like they're just taking a long time to go through their applications. Very frustrating! 😡
 
I got received an interview invite, does anyone know if they have student hosting? I am Out of State.

You got me beat, it has only been a month and a half since I was complete with the secondary and primary, but I am also still pending. I am going to wait them out.... its not like they can lose the apps or anything.
 
Found out today that I'm interviewing on the 9th at College Station! Good thing I live in Dallas now or that would have been a little tricky. I'm so excited, but surprised to all the sudden have my first interview in a day and a half.

I was complete on 8/13, and secondary on 8/16.
 
I got an interview invite today for the 16th!
I submitted my primary in July, secondary in the beginning of August, but my LORs were just sent 2 weeks ago.
 
I'll be interviewing Sept 16. I got an invite this morning for the 9th of Sept, but being out of state, airfare was around $900, so I scheduled it one week later to save a bundle.
 
I'll see you tomorrow morning 🙂

I was transmitted yesterday and immediately submitted my secondary afterwards, how long did you all have to wait until your application was complete? Do they email you or do you have to check on BAMF?
 
Received a PHONE CALL this morning inviting me to interview next week on the 16th...while I was at my southwestern interview!!! Will be going to Temple then a day before I interview at lubbock!!! Exciting couple of weeks 🙂
 
Secondary submitted on 6/11, primary transmitted on 7/7. Status page says only secondary and fee have been received but I called a month ago and was told they had everything and I was going to be reviewed in a week or two but that never happened... any suggestions?!

Email the admissions office. It's been more than 4-6 weeks.

Please A&M. PLEASE GIVE ME AN INVITE!!!!

It wasn't bad. I needed to be there around 9:45, left at 8 from just south of downtown, and got in to S&W's parking lot around 9:15. But I speed ^^; so you might want to give yourself more time.
 
Yeah - I'm sure if I call and demand and interview, they'll happily bend to my will and comply 😀
 
Does anyone know if A&M has a policy of not responding to emails from current applicants? Do I need to call to get any information?
 
I emailed them earlier in the season to see if they had received my payment and they responded to me the next day
 
FINALLY UNDER REVIEW!!! Application was transmitted 7/7. How long did people stay under review before they got invites?

i interviewed yesterday! my tmdsas was transmitted on 8/7 and i submitted my secondary app 8/8. the invite was really short notice though so someone prob dropped the spot that i got. it definitely does take a while though...😕

Also finally under review. Which is surprising, considering every part of my application (except the money, lol) was incomplete/unreceived yesterday.
 
does anyone know when A&M is going to send out their next set of interview invites? looks like they have not sent any invites last week.
 
From what I have seen, they send them out on Wednesday... So I was hoping to see some action yesterday, but still nothing... They seem to be the slowest out of all of the Texas schools...

As far as I know, they're still sending them out every week. I think it's just that no one you know has gotten one lately. Every Thursday I see the "welcome" sign in the Reynolds building for the new interviewees.
 
Just had my interview here yesterday! Was very long but great and informative day! Both of my interviews went extremely well! My first interviewer barely asked me any questions and told me he would rate me Automatic Acceptance😀 and my second was really nice, and she basically spent half the time trying to convince me to come to A&M. This school is definitely a consideration! Great one-on-one teaching atmosphere and the 2+2 program is really unique!🙂 :luck: to everyone else!
 
How many students are there in college station, temple or round rock at any given time? I know the class is 150, but how does it get split up number wise.

I don't remember the exact number right now, but they do give you an exact breakdown at the presentations. I want to say there are more at CS than Temple, and very few at Round Rock. Round Rock is just for years 3/4.
 
how much preference do they give to in-state?
basically, do I have any chance of an interview... with 29P and 3.85 cGPA (3.7 science)

The class is 90% instate, and depending on the year it might even be close to 95% instate.

I'd say you have a pretty good chance since I had an interview OOS with 27Q and 3.83 cGPA 3.7 science

It took a week after I receive my "under review" status update to get my interview invite.

They better be. And they probably are, I can't imagine they'd be done.
 
Seriously, I'm dying in anxiety over here. They need to start sending out invites. What's taking them soooooooooooooooooooo long!!!! 😴😴😴

I definitely feel your pain! I just went under review on 9/17 after waiting over 2 months with the pending status. I would definitely expect more invites in the next couple weeks and I just hope that they come sooner rather than later.

Just got an intereview invite for 10/28 @ College Station. Did anyone interview at Collge Station recently ? I would love to know more about the interview process ...

I finally went into UNDER REVIEW mode today...fingers crossed for some more progress!! Also got a job interview today at my local James Avery (love that place) so, perhaps my luck is changing?

Well this will be my first interview at any Texas school. So any information would be great...
- My invite says it is a day long process... what is the format? facility tour, one-on-one interviews etc
-Do we have to decide on the campus - CS vs. Temple that day?
- Are they looking specifically at the activities mentioned in the application or is it more of a general interview where they try to gauge our personality?

I got an email to RSVP for the interview.

My application was transmitted to TAMU on 8/16 .. My LOR status was pending until 9/16 . I am not sure when everything was finally complete since I never received any notification on that. The next notification was the interview invite yesterday 🙂

I am a non-trad with pretty complex background...
MCAT 35Q, Foreign undergrad, Masters in Biomedical- Duke, Taking classes at the HCC to finish 90 hrs of US coursework, experience working with patients and medical devices for two years.

You start off with information about the school and the different tracks. Then you do a tour of the new building and the hospital. It's a pretty long morning. Then there's lunch and the interviews are 30 min between 1-3. You def do not have to choose which campus until you're admitted. They will go over the details of all the different tracks. And even once you've picked yours, you could still change any time before 3rd year if you have a decent reason. For the most part my interviewers asked me questions to figure out how I think and my personality. They did look over my application and asked me things that they thought were interesting or needed explanation but none of the questions were really hard. Hope that helps!

OMMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG I'm so excited. I got an invite for 10/21!! Wow this was really unexpected with my MCAT being 26
