i interviewed 12/2/10 and got the acceptance offer 12/7/10.
texas resident applicant.

did you receive the pre-match acceptance via email?

Also, I wonder if acceptances are going out for people who interviewed on temple that date. Im getting anxious!

Yeah. I just came from the interview today. Last one of the cycle. Filo said they will give out another batch, about 100 or so before Dec 22. The adcom have to wait for the scholarship com to meet as well so the acceptances can come with scholarships. Good luck to everyone! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a good x-mas present.

So you're saying sometime before the 22nd they are going to send out another 100 acceptances?? Do you know if that will include OOS applicants as well?

I want to say they will select the 100 from the entire pool of interviewee's up until this point that have not already been accepted, hopefully this means OOS too 🙂 good luck!!!

I really hope you're right - I wanna go to A&M more than anything and getting good news would be such a blessing! I had really great interviews and love everything about the school, however, I know being OOS makes it an uphill battle and it's just discouraging 🙁. Here's to keeping hope and good news for us all!!!

I interviewed there yesterday and Leila Diaz said that everyone who has been interviewed will be considered in the offers that will go out on Monday or Tuesday. If you you are out of state you are considered and from here on out, out of state individuals are considered for rolling admission until the end of the cycle

Thanks for the info! Just to make sure I'm clear on what you heard - are you saying that from now until the end of the cycle, OOS students are on a rolling admission schedule and that this Monday and Tuesday are no different than any other dates or that these dates are also likely dates for accepted OOS students to hear back?

Are there any current A&M medical students in College Station who might be willing to grab lunch or dinner with a guy who pre-matched and is trying to make a choice? I'd most of all love to see the campus, and am curious about how classes and such are structured and feel-- shoot me a PM if you'll be around this weekend or Monday, when I might try to come up and check out the school. (I'm in Houston if anyone else here wants to drive up together on Monday and check out College Station, a city to which I've never been.)

Umm she told a girl who was OOS yesterday that until the end of the cycle she would be rolling admission. I am assuming this means that she can be included in the offers made next week but if she doesn't get one she can still get an offer in Jan while Texas residents can't (until match). So I believe you would have a chance to hear next week and each month until the end of the cycle. I think the only difference now between IS and OOS is that IS are participating in the match and have to rank their schools

first pre-match. SO relieved, and thought of all my interviews I had the least chance to get in here based on my interview. Ha!

I guess it goes to show that this process is never what you think it is.

Oh and they are not my top choice. Great school, but because of family location, Id rather be at another school. So maybe I can open up a spot for one of yall at the match.

Do this. I took a screen shot of my master's program grades (they were pretty bad) and emailed them to her per her request. I thought well, there go my chances, but alas it worked out in the long run.

Leila is super nice and emailing them to her can only help.

Wondering the same thing, because if I wait till February or later to contact them, that takes away a significant amount of time that I'll be able to use to bolster my application if I end up needing to reapply. I think either way I need to go ahead and take a statistics class this spring because starting next year statistics will be required for admission. And it can only help me even if I get accepted in the match.

Is anyone else here wanting to do the MD/MPH program?
I had asked Mr Maldonado about being able to complete it at Temple and he said it can be done but I was wondering about the logistics of it, i.e. are the classes actually taught at temple also? Are they all Online anyway? .....

Just curious....if you attend the college station campus do you get full access to the undergrad campus such as gyms and athletic events and stuff the same way you do if you attended tt lubbock? I just don't remember it being mentioned as much as it was wen i interviewed in lubbock but then again i interviewed in Temple....
