New email address for what? Any email addresses from before the school changed its name will still work.

I heard the email changed to something like [email protected] ... can anyone confirm that is the correct one?
I spoke to Joan and she said the new address is [email protected]
I called today because I sent an update to the old email address yesterday and Joan said that they are being forwarded to the new email.
By chance when you called, did you get any more information regarding the wait-list?
Or anyone who has called the office recently for that matter?

No, I figure its a moot point right now. All they would say is how many (maybe) and that you won't here till after May 15, neither of which will improve my mood.
Is anyone still waiting for a response post-interview? Interviewed 2/16 and haven't heard anything...
Maybe you guys should call. Last year there's an error in the system and some of the decision emails didn't get through to the recipients, who had to call to find out.
Hey, any student hosts willing to take us in for at least 1 night during second look weekend to help us cut down on costs. Also anyway we can start a facebook group to get to know eachother, and possibly find ways to carpool for second look if anyones driving from the same area?
I just called and asked if all decisions have been sent out post-interview and was told (by Dina?) that they haven't and are going out every day. Can anyone else confirm? Seems pretty late to be waiting for a wait list email... Maybe it's their method of rejection? 🙂

How important is second look if I know for sure I will be matriculating in the fall?
Probably not very. It's pretty much for fun, for meeting potential future classmates, and for helping you decide on a school.

Has anyone received financial aid yet?
I submitted everything about 1 month ago and haven't received anything.
They sent me everything by e-mail [PDFs]. Why don't you write to Betty Fulton [[email protected]] from their financial aid office asking about your package? I have been corresponding with her and she has been very prompt and helpful.

Out of curiosity, when is the second look weekend and is it okay to go if you're wait-listed?
It's at the end of next week. You can call the admissions office but I'm pretty sure that unless you are invited and RSVP you can't attend.
I had the same question and the admissions office said no 🙁. I guess we will just have to wait!
Anyone receive the "do you wish to continue under consideration for admissions" email?
Hmm I didn't receive that email... But I also sent a letter of update last week, could that be why?
I didn't get it either but i have sent them a couple updates since I received my wait list email a month ago.

I got that e-mail too this morning. Pretty odd. I actually sent an update letter too to Andy as well as the admissions office. Maybe it's time for another one?

I had sent one in early April and got the e-mail yesterday. I just replied back I was still interested and referenced the date I sent them the LOI.
I'm guessing all the acceptances have gone out and it comes down to us on the wait-lists now (just judging by how quiet it has been lately)... on the plus side, 15 days left 😀

haha you're right that is more realistic🙂... I was just trying to side with optimism because when you look back on the message boards in previous years, quite a few people receive invites off the wait-list within the first couple hours and days of the 15th. I'm just really excited/nervous for these outcomes!

Not really. As per AMCAS, June 1st is the last date for deferral for the incoming class of MD2016. Generally, movement after June 1st is basically nil.
So essentially we have from May 16th till June 1st, a mere 14 day window.
