Most people had cars with them so you won't have any issue hitching a ride with one of the other admitted applicants or current students. People dressed pretty casually at the Open House I attended months ago. Wouldn't wear pajama pants but you definitely don't need a suit.

Seems like since they started doing virtual interviews, the vast majority of people who are accepted during/after February interviewed 1-2 weeks prior. I wonder how much of this is selection bias because the trend looks very strong.

Like, people are completed the same day as us have been given Pre-II Rs. However, some of us are still waiting for any action post secondary. Maybe we're still in consideration?
What I learned most from this is that typically, Dartmouth will accept roughly 5 individuals from an interview cohort during Fall Interviews.
If you're not accepted within the early time frame (either 4-5 weeks after your fall interview or roughly 2-3 weeks after your feb/march interview), you're likely to be a WL. Some have reported acceptances outside of this (like a November acceptance at the end of Feb), but this seems to be rare (per SDN reports).
1/3 of interviewees are post-II rejected in the spring, typically mid-March and/or mid-April, after they convene to discuss all of their interviewees for the year (likely determining where the numerical score rests for As, WLs, and Rs).
For those lurking about interview invites - they typically continue to extend them through march with a final interview day on the last Thursday of March.

I would imagine they would need to accept more than 3-5 people from each interview cohort, no? If they interview ~750 people (say, 30/week for 25 weeks) and accept ~250, they would need to accept ~10 people from each week’s interviewees, assuming they don’t admit a huge portion of their class from the waitlist. I’d imagine this is where SDN’s small sample size might lead to an incomplete picture of their process. Fingers crossed for all of us, though!

Nobody on SDN has reported an A since 2/10, but it seems like they usually go out in the morning. Based on Kelrilyn’s post, it’s possible that they sometimes take a break from handing out acceptances in late Feb/early March to finalize WL/R decisions, but it’s really anyone’s guess.
