Keep your hopes up. If you interviewed here and you truly want to attend this school, your chances are great.

Thanks ! I really appreciate that, I love this school so i was really hoping to hear something so we could start planning. anyway, thanks for the kind words!

I really want to go here too... I wonder if they went through the entire 12/9 group or just half or some of them.... They said 1st and 3rd weeks in Jan... we would be presented to the committee.

Still waiting on a response from a September interview....

Don't get your hopes too down.....I don't think OUWB is going to be accepting much more than 75 students until April/May and then around that May 15th deadline, you're going to see a ton of movement when everyone who decides to go elsewhere has to withdraw and they're going to end up accepting a bunch of people that are waiting like you.

just received a pre-interview rejection. was complete in august.

I just cancelled my 1/27 interview. Good luck to whoever gets it.

Congrats! You were at the 12/15 interview right? I was there as well and remember you asking questions about the financial rumors.

Still waiting for my decision. Did you receive a phone call or e-mail?

Anyone know how many students attend class? Do a lot of students stay home, 2x lectures and study at home or are most days 8-3 in class on campus?

At the interview they said that most people attended class daily. Most people live of campus about 5 minutes away so it is pretty easy to head home if you really want. The student campus area is really nice though.

So....only 10 invites left according to their web site. Anyone know when the admissions committee meets?

Question to anyone who has had their interview already:

I have my interview on Friday. Do I need to bring anything with me? Paperwork or forms or anything? Also, since its going to be a long day with tours and such, will there be a lot of down time? Should I bring a book to read?
Thanks!

You don't need anything. You'll get a folder with info, a pen, and a pad of paper. And there is barely any downtime. For the morning, they break the room into 3 groups for interview, TBL simulation, and tour, and then you rotate through all 3 activities.

At the hospital there is a few minutes while you wait for your interview, but you get snacks and just socialize with your fellow interviewees. You're never by yourself just sitting around waiting, so I wouldn't bring a book.

Yea no forms, no paperwork, and no downtime. The interview day is structured in such a way that you will always be doing one thing or another so the day goes by relatively quickly. Good luck 👍

Just get a good night's sleep. It's a LONG interview day but I actually appreciated it because I got to see all aspects of the program that many schools do not always provide during their interview day. Good luck!

bring pain relievers. just in case 🙂 ha, several of us had pretty bad headaches during the day by coincidence, and only one girl had anything on her.

Final interview invites out....I didn't get one...but also no rejection....What did others hear?

AHHHH! Got the call from Dean Grabowski today!!!! Can't believe it. So honored :soexcited:

Congrats!!!' can I ask when you were interviewed?

I interviewed November 18th! If you haven't heard back for a while, don't lose hope! I've kept in touch with some people from my interview day, and some of them got accepted much before me, so if you haven't heard back that doesn't mean they've "passed over" you indefinitely!

Looks like they have given out all of the interview invites unless cancellations come up. Bummer 🙁.

Man was really hoping for an interview with this school! Anyone know if they even send out emails of regret?

Im an optimist, so perhaps there will be calls tomorrow. Dont know till tm lol.

I have tapped my cell phone to my ear so in case they call ill hear it and wont have to hectically look for it. :scared:

Also, I have blocked all people on my contact list from calling so if it rings i know its from OUWB. Its fool-proof!

This made me laugh! I know the feeling 😉

congrats! they usually give full tuition and partial tuition right?

also...these are non-need based scholarships right? i haven't even turned in my FAFSA...still waiting on that W2.

I don't know what they usually do. I got ~12.5K/year. By phone, which "will be followed by a letter in the mail"
