Click "apply online" like they instructed you to do and on that page, click "apply online" again in that same exact location.

Does anyone know how we get the DIMER form? Do they e-mail us to fill it out? I selected it on the secondary.

It's only for Delaware residents. Apparently Jefferson is actually kinda sorta like a state school for Delaware, so they hold a certain number of seats for Delaware residents.

Ah ok cool, thanks.

I actually submitted right after I woke up and I tried to login just now (because I forgot I had submitted) and was confused when it told me I had already completed the secondary. I was going to email them until I saw a few posts up that I submitted.. Weird.

Were there any essays?

Yeah there was one. Basically anything you want to say in at most 4,000 characters.

Sorry, I was confused on which thread I was in. Mine says decision pending also, but everything is received. Doesn't actually say complete.

been verified since early june, and still no secondary. lame that the easiest secondary is taking the longest to receive.

I was verified on 6/6 and only got my secondary 2 days ago.
 
I don't think Interview: Decision Pending status necessarily means that you're complete. My LORs aren't in yet, and I have that status (unless I'm in line for a quick rejection).

Mine says decision pending as well, but everything has been marked as received ("Yes").

URM with low stats though, so I may also be in line for a quick reject. 3.00c/3.14s/33.
 
For those of you who have received secondaries... is it true that everything has to be submitted within two weeks of receiving the secondary? Or within two weeks of activating the secondary?

Yeah, I got that email. But when I pressed "MD Application" after pressing Apply Online (the pdf that most people are talking about) it says that is must be submitted within two weeks. I was wondering if this was true, or if it was just for those who submit a hardcopy version instead of online version? Any ideas anyone?

True or not, is there a reason you won't be submitting within 2 weeks?
 
So can anyone who is a medical student at Jefferson, or who has previously applied, tell us about the interview process in more detail?

Do you mean how the actual interview day itself goes down? or the process of offering the interviews?

The interview itself. What the interview day is like? Does a faculty, student, or both interview you? How long are they? Anything specifically interesting about them, or are they typical interviews etc.

One closed file student, one open file faculty. Not terribly long (there are activities scheduled before and after them, so they keep them on time - especially the student one). Nothing particularly memorable, student one seemed more to assess our fit as a classmate (the students who conduct the interview were current first years) but that's just a guess.

Current student here. As stated above, you have one closed-file student interview and one open-file faculty interview. Both are technically 30 minutes long, though the student one is more likely to lean towards the shorter end of that scale since it's right before your catered lunch (probably one of the most delicious interview day lunches I had during my application year). I can also confirm what was stated above: student interviews are more to get a student's perspective on whether or not the applicant fits in with the Jefferson student body. While the student interviews are usually very casual, it's a pretty well-known fact that admissions takes student input very seriously.

The faculty interview, though technically open-file, is also generally very casual. The vast majority of faculty interviewers trust that your academic record is strong in order to be invited to interview in the first place, so they tend to turn to your file only to find potential topics of conversation. I'd say around 50% of faculty interviews will never even talk about your file, and will just have a conversation with you.

Overall, I'd say Jefferson had one of the most relaxing interview days of those I attended. Just be yourself and try to take in the Jefferson experience. Hope this helps, good luck to everyone applying this year!
 
I have at least 8 and above on each section of MCAT, everything else strong, and I strongly like Jefferson.

still no secondary.
 
I guess the IT people download the AMCAS applications at staggered periods. They slowwalk everything.

A couple others did not have secondaries this past weekend. Furthermore, one person had a 5 in one section and still got a secondary.

A 5 on one take, then a 10 on the second.

Don't know what is going on, but it has nothing to do with stats. They send a secondary to everyone.
 
yea it doesn't have to do with stats or when you submitted. I have at least an 11 in each section and submitted/verified 6/5 and I still haven't received one. I'm just going to wait the week out and if it doesn't come by then I'll call the office next week.
 
I just got my secondary yayyyyyyyyy!!!!! the secondary sounds easy to me 🙂

do you recommend writing anything for that optional "anything else" part? Shall i cover a community service on my AMCAS more in detail? Or discuss an important experience not touched in my AMCAS?

Someone who received an interview on last year's thread strongly recommended writing a why Wake.
