I was pretty tired by then... I thought they did rolling admissions then admitted a bunch of deferred people in march. If they only do two rounds of acceptances, your numbers make more sense... But I do agree, I hope it works out my way, haha.
Alright, I checked out the older thread. Hopefully this clears it up:
NU gives acceptances to interviewers ~4-6 weeks post-interview. Last year, they began the 3rd of November. This year it's looking (guesstimate) to be mid-November for the first acceptances, probably due to the late secondaries. You'll either get accepted or deferred for final decision in March. At this point you'll be accepted, put on an 'alternate list,' or rejected. There wasn't any conclusive numbers on the thread, but it looks like a good number of applicants were accepted both post-interview and after being deferred. Overall, there is about a 50% chance of being accepted if you interviewed when all is said and done.

This is substantiated if you check your status page:
Thank you for taking the time to visit Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. We appreciate the effort taken to rearrange your responsibilities, make travel arrangements, and prepare for the interview day. We hope you found the effort worthwhile; we certainly enjoyed your visit. In 4-6 weeks you will be notified whether you have been accepted or whether the decision will be deferred until completion of our interviews in March.
Good luck! I absolutely loved it here.
